Good little torque wrench for bikes and autos

Very well built. Great purchase.
I already had a 3/8 Torque wrench but the unit did not go low enough. So I purchased a couple inexpensive units. Yes a couple. Because each one I got had something either major or minor with it. Bottom line is they don’t work and we’re not accurate. So I spent a few extra bucks on this one. And I was already familiar with Sunex because I use their impact sockets and the like. And of course it did not disappoint. Well built, smooth operation. Quality product.

It's a nice wrench
I have no complaints. It is made to a high standard. Made in Taiwan may not be the same as made in America but it's not the same as made in China either. This is a good tool. I was impressed enough that I purchased their 3/8" drive and 1/4" drive torque wrenches too. I actually bought the 3/8" drive wrench on accident but I liked it so much, I didn't want to return it and so I kept it. It's a good tool. Dial up your torque setting, hold it in the right place and in the right way, give it a turn in the right manner and the wrench head will "snap" letting you know to stop wrenching. The nut I was working on required .001" shims to get the bolt perfectly lined up. One shim equaled one ft/lb on the wrench and this seemed repeatable as I added shims. Remember that lubrication will increase your actual bolt tension and using extension wrenches may alter the length of the wrench which will increase or decrease the actual applied torque and subsequent bolt tension.

Its a monster!!
This is an absolute beast monstrosity of a torque wrench, the biggest I will ever need!! The price was right though. Quality, fit and finish is not that of a Snap-On CDI wrenches but plenty good enough for all but the most abusive use. Seems relatively accurate when comparing to one of my larger Snap on units.

This Torque Wrench worked like a charm for me!
I was very happy with this torque wrench. I have no way to judge the accuracy of the readings, so I'm hoping they are correct. I used this while replacing the front end on a 1990 Jeep Wagoneer Limited, which required torqueing the front axle nut to 175lbs (this will go up to 250lbs). The only thing it won't do is torque below 30lbs. But, I have an old beam torque wrench that I can use for the light stuff.I had purchased a cheaper torque wrench several years ago, which turned out to be wasted money, as it wouldn't work at all.
