Victron Energy Autotransformer 120/240V AC

These are great to pair up with cheap European 240v-only inverters to get a neutral and convert to US split phase. The 100a model can pass that much current through for 240v-only loads, and the transformer itself is superior at leg balancing compared to inverters with a built-in transformer. If you know what you're doing, this is a way more cost effective and resilient way of getting US split phase without having to pay a fortune for an all-in-one split phase inverter. Build quality is top notch, which is to be expected from Victron. I'm sure this transformer will outlive multiple inverters.

I have my Ecoflow Delta 2 Max plugged into it and it runs the whole house minus the water heaters...That's 220 ,120 both legs..

Victron Energy has created an amazing product if you are in need of transforming your power. I used this with a 12V 5000 watt pure sign wave inverter. I purchased the 100Amp version as I may upgrade my system later on. I have the auto transformer converting a single phase 120V output to split phase 240 volts. The output is connected to my whole home transfer switch and easily handles the loads of 2 4 ton furnaces (120v each) and several other loads which in total pull about 3000 watts. It easily handles the peak start loads while showing almost no flicker with house lighting. If you can afford it, get this unit. The manual is horrible and only after finding a post on a forum was I able to connect it properly.

Does as intended. 120v ac15amp wall became 240v ac. so far powered constant 3500watts @240v safely from standard 14awg 600v house wire. better input I'm sure will result in full output described in description. unfortunately that's my limit for testing right now.

This is a great concept but the 100 amp unit is a little misleading. It is 100 amp pass through but only 28 amp converted. That means if you are converting 240V to 120V split phase you can only draw 28amps at 120V. Conversely if you are going from 120V to 240V you can only get 14 amps on the 240 Volt side because the 120V side will be maxed at 28 amps.

The load balancing configuration for my portable generator being used to power the home works as expected. Was able to run a 5K watt electric heater and then other surge loads without unbalanced draw on the generator (7200 Watt/8550 Peak).

The media could not be loaded. So fare so good running well 240v
