Cheaper by the 5 pack
Why an expensive Fluke fuse? The Fluke web site touches a little on fuse design and I won't go into details here. But listen up.This particular fuse is intended for CAT III (600v) rated multimeters such a my Fluke 117. From the Fluke web site: "You want a fuse that will break that current and do it quickly. In addition to the specially designed fuse element, the highenergy fuse is filled with sand. The sand will not only help absorb the shock energy created by the exploding element, but the high temperatures (up to 10,000 °F) generated by the energy will melt the sand and turn it to glass. The glass coats the element and smoothers the fireball by cutting off the available oxygen, keeping you and the tester safe from harm." Bottom line, it's a documented industrial safety standard for the trades and this fuse is Fluke's answer to address that standard. As for my Fluke 117 DVM, I had a mental lapse and while in the 10 amp DC current mode, connected it to a DC voltage source. Poof and pop, wouldn't measure current any more. This fuse fixed it. Cheaper by the 5 pack.

but they were in good condition and all work
They appear to be genuine Fluke fuses. Not much to say about them, but they were in good condition and all work. They are rather expensive but you're paying for the peace of mind knowing they offer the maximum safety you can get.

My fluke 115 quit
After my 115 fluke quit at work and left me with nothing. Coworker on maint side said check fuse. After he said to solder an 18 guage wire on to wait till these get in. It all worked out perfect. This was put in and my Fluke meter that gets used for low voltage dc is just fine

Good quality, decent price
I looked around a bit for a cheaper replacement option for my Fluke 179 fuses, but ultimately came back to these as the cheapest option. Genuine Fluke OEM. Buying 5 saves you substantially over a single replacement, and you know you're EVENTUALLY going to blow another one of these guys when you aren't paying attention (though you might be more careful now that you know how expensive they are!). These 10 mm fuses seem to be particular to quality DMM's so you really aren't going to find an alternative. The extra bucks are for the high interrupt rating of the fuse, and are well worth it in context of safety of life.

Genuine Fluke fuse
I bought these for my Fluke 789. The package is from Fluke. Works as intended. Price is good. Will purchase again (since 440mA fuese will go out again)

The just in case fuses!
Sometimes you accidentally (miss-labeled, birds nest wiring, etc.) touch a 2A+ circuit when you thought it was a 4-20ma one....which blows these fuses, which is better than your 400 dollar meter. So having a couple extra in your meter bag never hurts!I'm sure you can find the non-fluke fuses but for the price why not just buy the real ones that are used to build your nice expensive meter in the first place?

NOT IN FLUKE PACKAGING, these are GENERIC fuses in a baggie with a dot-matrix printed label.
Unlike some other buyers, in Oct 2020 I received a generic plastic bag of Bussmann fuses, NOT in Fluke packaging and of course not Fluke branded, contrary to what the listing says. So you are rolling the dice here. Don't waste your money on these premium-priced fuses since you can buy "real" Bussmann fuses for a lot less money. These weren't even in Bussmann packaging! I got five generic fuses in a baggie with a home-printed label.
