Lip Mask & Lip Balm - 2 in 1 Nourishing & Hydrating leave-on Overnight lip mask (Beige)

This lip mask is perfectly fine, but it’s probably not my favorite product of this kind that I have ever used. It feels very hydrating and smoothing when it goes on, but it does not feel any thicker or more moisturizing than most other lip balms that I use. I like that it is made in the USA.

I'm a 41yo skincare junkie obsessed with keeping my skin as healthy and youthful looking as possible. Unfortunately, time has taken quite a bit of volume and fullelness from my pout. I also have always suffered from dry, chapped lips too (I sleep with my mouth open and the drastic weather changes where I live don't help much). I like a good lip mask or lip chap, but I've yet to find one that helps my chapped skin AND restores the volume- until now.This product quickly arrived in a small plastic jar, completely surrounded by a tamper proof wrapper. Inside, there is another saftey seal covering the formula itself.About that formula-I appreciate that this is made in the US (with imported materials) and that it is cruelty free. While the ingredient list appears a bit long at first, a closer look shows that this is FILLED with a ton of different extracts and oils. There are some really impressive/rich emollients and waxes, to seal in all that moisture. I pay close attention to ingredients. I think a lot of people don't realize that what we put on our bodies ends up IN our bodies, lip products especially. This formula contains only good stuff, nothing that is harmful or suspicious.How does it feel?Inside of the jar, the formula is semi solid, but melts on contact with the warmpth of my finger. A light glide of my finger or a cotton swab/sponge picks up enough product to coat my lips generously.The clear formula is very light feeling on the lips and super silky. This is NOT a heavy, goopy, sticky or thick formula at all. It feels super moisturizing and really pretty wonderful on. As the moisture and extracts work themselves into the lips, I can feel the waxes that are left behind on my lips. They don't pill, feel heavy or feel strange/uncomfortable like some waxes tend to, rather they almost act like a light sealant over my lips, locking in all the good stuff underneath. It's interesting because I can actually feel this working. There's no tingle or anything, but the process of the skin absorbing what it can and the seal that locks everything in is pretty genius.There is very little discernable scent to this. With no added fragrance, whenever your nose picks up on is from the ingredients themselves. I do notice some fresh citrus (orange, grapefruit) notes, but they are very light. The formula just smells natural, and I really like it. I want to note something that I think about a lot...A while back I met someone who created cosmetics and skincare. He told me that when products have a very strong scent added, 9 times out of 10 they added it to cover up cheep or sub par ingredients in the formula that have a very bad smell. He said that this was especially true with lip products. That is always in the back of my mind and it makes me love this formula even more. They have nothing to hide or cover, it's just good ingredients.This will/does stay on all night. Again, the rich emollients and nutrients sink deep into the lips while the light waxes lock them in. It's also a great balm for daytime use too! You can use this on it's own for a beautiful, glossy, natural look or under your lipstick. I definitely suggest applying the formula and letting it settle in for a few minutes before continuing with your other lip products. This way, you are applying your product on top of that waxy layer and that helps keep lipstick on longer. This has layered well with all the lipsticks and glosses I've paired it with so far, with no pilling.Does it work?OMG! YES!This formula is really incredible! It hydrates so well! Even my super rough, cracked and bloody lips get softer and improve by at least 75% in just one night! By the 2nd morning, my lips are perfectly soft, plump and juicy- like they were never in bad shape to begin with! As a lip balm and protectant, this stuff is one of the best for sure!Now, this isn't a typical lip plumper. Those usually have some sort of tingle that causes the lips to slightly swell for a short time. This ISNT like those. There is no tingle. But this DOES plump!Because there is so much good stuff in here that loads the lips with moisture, and helps you retain it, your lips get and stay plump on thier own. The centella asiatica and hyaluronic acid in the formula pump nutrients and moisture into the skin, naturally, and keep it there. It even helps with the small lines around the mouth too, as the extra hydration chokes out fine lines, and as always- the extra moisture and hydration prevent new lines from forming. There is no doubt that this gives the lips a fuller, plumper (*from the added hydration) and healthier appearance- naturally. It really does make a difference.I've been using this constantly. It's so comfortable to wear and I absolutely love how it makes my lips look and feel.I also want to note that I reached out to First Botany with some questions and comments regarding the product. They are very responsive and incredibly helpful. They are kind, pleasant, quick to respond and it's obvious that they like what they do and know they create wonderful, quality formulas. It makes me even happier knowing that I'm supporting a business like this.For $16, I think this is a fantastic product. The formula is excellent and filled with effective, quality ingredients and above all, this really delivers results! I'll definitely be buying this again!

Hello friends, I selected this first botany Dewey lip revive mask for lips.This mess comes in a tiny little tub and is a peachy kind of color. It doesn't look like murky water from the product description photos. I found out to be very moisturizing and lightweight. Even though it's a mask, I've been using it as a balm on days I'm outside. I think it's really nice. No drama formula.

Wife's review: lovely lip mask. Lightweight. Good ingredients inside helps to create soft, plump lips. I use this as mainly a daytime lip balm but love that I can lather it on for an overnight mask and wake up with hydrated lips.

I have used quite a few lip masks and this is one of my least favorites. It’s got an oily texture, so it isn’t very thick, and doesn’t smell great. Overall I won’t be reaching for this very often

I use this as a lip moisturizer. It works very well. It has a very supple texture.

Though the container is small, I’ve been using it nightly for two weeks and haven’t made a discernible dent, so this will last awhile. I like it. It isn’t thick and goopy, but melts as you spread it (probably the coconut oil). My only complaint is that it didn’t come with an applicator. Otherwise, I’m pleased with the texture and I can say that my lips feel much less dry and chapped after using this regularly.

As a lip balm, this is fine, but it dries up within an hour.
