Surprisingly powerful for a tower fan!
I needed a fan for our living room that did not take up a lot of real esate on the floor. I really like the fact that tower fans do not take up a lot of room, but historically they do not really have a good air flow, which I need. When we got this fan and unboxed it, I was pleasently surprised at just how much air this fan puts out.Unboxing and assembly was pretty easy and the electrical cord is about the length that you would expect on a fan. The fan has a remote control, and even has a place on the very top to store the remote when not in use so that it doesn't get lost. The fan has three speeds that put out quite a bit of air. The only downside to the air flow is that it is louder than expected. It has a setting on it that says that it reduces the noise, but I have either not figured out how to use it or it doesn't really do a lot to lower the noise (it is probably a ME problem). In addition to the three speed setting, the fan also oscillates, has a time, and an AI setting that increases the speed as the temprature increases and then shuts off compeltely if the temprature gets low enought which i thought was a great function.Overall I paid $67.99 for this fan and it has been worth every penny so far. I like it so much that I have ordered a desktop version for my home office!

What hot flash?
Got this for my work office for those times when I’m suddenly far hotter than anyone else in the office. It’s multiple settings means I can find the right option for what I need. During one on one and group meetings in my office it helps to circulate the air.Co-workers have texted to ask to borrow it on my work from home days. It’s quiet but very effective. Perfect solution for me.

A little loud
I bought this because my circular fan went out and I have a tower fan in my RV that I love. This takes up less, space on my night stand, so that is nice. The fan has 3 settings and high is pretty powerful, however its a little loud. I use the fan mostly for the white noise but this one took a little getting use to. If you like total silence at night, this isn't for you. I seen in the reviews, people complained of remote not working but mine worked just fine. I, also, like the 12 hour timer because I sometimes forget to turn it off in the morning. It is a good quality fan

Update to my first review
Update to my previous review: Customer service was amazing. They contacted me after my review and offered to send a new fan. The 2nd fan they sent me works great...we love it. The first one we received must have been a fluke because the new one works perfectly. Thank you for the wonderful customer service. I am a happy customer!I don't like this fan. The sleep feature doesnt work, it stays just as loud as the regular mode. The directions for use are useless. It shouldn't be hard to figure out. The other one we have works great, but not this one. I would not buy again, especially for the price. I found one like it at Costco for $22 cheaper. It is much quieter and puts out more air. I'm disappointed in this fan. I'd return it if I would have kept the box.

The noise it makes is horrible
Does it work? By definition yes. It blows air. It also makes this horrifying noise while running. You think you will get a great nights sleep with your new tower fan, but alas, no. The assembly should be easy and self explanatory. For the most part it is. Until you wanna put the base on. You had better be ready to excerpt some serious force. You will force the base on like you force your teenager to do dishes, or your boss to approve your PTO request. Once you have it on there you'll be really ready for its cool island breezes. You will be hot and questioning your life decisions, but alas the fan is ready. You get comfy pick up the remote and push the button, expecting cooling air, no. The fan will simply look back at you like you're expecting miracles. Now you're really confused because you know how to use a remote. You've removed the tag from the bottom of it so the battery works. You've made sure the fan is in fact plugged in. After all you may have forgotten after fighting to get the base on the tower. You stand up and make your way back to the fan and push the power button. Miracles it turns on, but your joy is short lived as you realize your fan sounds like the local tornado siren. Whooooooooo you hear as you look at it, perplexed. Why would it make this noise? So you unplug it and look it over, nothing is wrong. You just managed to purchase the loudest tower fan on the market. Rest assured this won't be for naught. Eventually (a few weeks later) the sirens roar will calm down a touch and it will sound like you've let the blow dryer on in your bathroom. Legend has it the fan is still whistling to this day.
