Savior Equipment Specialist Single Long Gun Bag Tactical Padded Soft Case w/Padded Handle Carrier, Adjustable Sling, Dual Lockable Zipper

I had been looking for a case for my scoped Ruger 10/22 in a Evolution thumb hole stock, with a Harris bi-pod attached to the front end of the stock. Most of the soft rifle cases I found in the the big box Sporting Goods stores (BassPro, Sportsman's Warehouse, Big 5) were either too long or had thin padding. Hard side cases were too bulky, heavy and expensive, and were overkill for my needs.I found this case on Amazon, the 42" length is a perfect fit, and the build quality is quite good. The heavy duty KKM zipper is lockable. I like the 3 internal storage pockets, especially the largest one, being 1/2 the length of the case. I can use zippered luggage "packing cubes" to organize many things in that large pocket. While the sides of the pockets facing the rifle are padded, it's on the thin side, which I imagine is to keep the bulk of the case down. I think it will be adequate enough to protect the rifle from the contents of the storage pockets... we shall see.The rifle is held in place via a Molle type web and 2 Velcro straps. While the two included Velcro straps are probablyadequate for standard rifles, I needed to add two more straps to really secure my rifle from moving around, due to its extra weight from having a heavy bull barrel and large scope.The wide diagonal black stripe on the exterior of the case is a Velcro "loop" panel, intended for attaching Velcro hooked "morale" patches, if desired. But, you could probably use it instead to attach a small Velcro hooked back pouch to the outside of the case.This case is priced very reasonable/competitive for what you get, compared to what's available in retail sporting goods stores and their prices.

High quality soft case, zippers are well made, nice carry handles, lots of space to carry mags. Great all around range case.

Great case at a great price

I've used savior rifle cases for years because they are a good value. This one is fine, I like the old design (patriot model) better because the pocket layout was better and those pockets were on the outside - didn't have to open the main compartment to retrieve magazines or other gear stored in pockets. This one is well made, good quality material and zippers. The pockets on the inside are larger, but less specific for certain gear - no dedicated mag pouches. Looks good.

when they say 36" they mean 36". Henry Homesteader butt to tip is 36". it fits the case just barely. The bag seams well built.
