Is this case wide enough to support a cooler master hyper 212 evo?
I've seen photos of the handle (from a Q300P) being attached to the center of the top panel of this case. Is this possible?
what are the size and placements of the fans?
Does the case come pre-assembled?

This is THE best case below $40

When I was picking my parts, I wanted to spend as little as possible on a case without going into the ultra budget rosewills and what not. Pretty much every case I was interested in was either in the $60 range or the $100+ range.I was going to settle on the thermaltake v21 and replace all the sides with windows, then I was going to settle on the fancy version of the q300l.I kept researching and researching and it sounds like cooler master fans aren't that great so getting two rgb ones with the fancy version sounded like a good deal but I had found plenty of cheap 6 packs of rgb fans and would prefer if all matched. This case at below $40 was just simply the most unique one at this price range and I had already decided on all the other parts (don't pick the case first) and tried imagining the build.I changed my mind on getting ring style fans, the perforated nature of this case would completely ruin the rings' lighting thru the walls, so the other option was fully lighted fans. Definitely the right choice in this one. You need to be careful with CPU coolers too, several popular ones are too tall by less than a mm. Just happens that the fans I got, uphere's (I took a chance and they are so good, don't let the brand scare you) also come on uphere's cooler and it fits PERFECT. No touching the side panel or anything.I didn't realize how black the case was as well and that is such a good thing. It is black, not grey.Cable management was as easy as can be with zip ties and fabric ties. Plenty of space to feed any cable heads thru any open route, I never got frustrated or had a problem making it look how I wanted. There's mixed info on the cooling performance. Lots of holes=lots of air. Gamers Nexus proved that false but I have yet to see temps over 75c during all benchmarks. Probably due to 9 fans.It just looks clean. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures.Cons: it's a cheap case so it's got more of a bare bones metal look than a sleek spaceship look. Not necessarily a bad thing.I really can't think of anything else, it was a complete joy to build in and everyone who's seen it really appreciates it. Would definitely recommend for budget builds and high end ones and is a perfect choice for custom builds built in quantity for offices and such at such a cheap price.Don't hesitate, if you think this case looks good even a little bit, it looks better in person and you shouldn't be disappointed.Make sure you are using micro atx motherboard. Just saying. Some people. Normal atx psu fits with a recessed bracket, thought it was weird but now I actually like it. It allows the power cable to bend at the edge of the case as opposed to sticking out and inch or so.Definitely a buy for those on a budget.

Cheap, light, well designed.

The media could not be loaded. Fantastic case for the money. I built a "console" PC to exclusively play PC games on large screen TV. This fits the bill. Added three fans for good air flow with coarse screws, hidden by the magnet shields. Micro ATX fit like a glove, with regular size PSU and large GPU, all fit great. Case is super light. Also, lots of hiding space in the back, but I wouldn't try IDE HDDs, only SSDs and smaller. Great case!

Pretty Good

I was looking for a small mATX case to use with some older parts that I had in storage (I will list all the parts at the end for reference). So far it's worked great and I didn't really run into any major issues. I like how compact the case is and I was able to fit it under a small table. The computer is for light gaming and web browsing, so thermals have not been bad.Putting all the components together in the case was pretty straight forward. I found it a lot easier to work with than a small ITX or even a full ATX build. I didn't install any fancy or exotic parts (AIO/Water Cooling) and kept it simple, which I feel helped a lot. I like the dust filters that come with the case and the design on the filters give it a nice look. Since I am using a simple CPU (9400F), fan noise is non-existent since the processor doesn't generate a lot of heat. I'm using some Corsair RGB fans (x2 in front panel/x2 top of case), which look great and have them configured to silent in iCUE.There are a few issues so far with the case: 1) Stock outtake fan stops spinning randomly. I have it connected to the motherboard and have set the fan to full speed, but it does not fix the issue. I've also tried other fan headers on the board, but the fan continues to stop spinning. Not a big deal since a basic case fan is inexpensive, so I will be replacing it. 2) The Plexiglass can scratch easily if your not careful. I debated taking off the plastic film for this reason, but decided to remove it in the end. Glass would have been better, but for the price, you really can't complain. 3) Expansion slot covers are attached to the case, so removing them can be a little tricky. I ended up bending one of the slots a little bit, but was able to fix it by bending it back into place carefully. Finally, the only other thing that would have been nice is to have an all-in-one front panel connector. This would definitely help inexperienced builders to easily connect the front panel ports/power to the board without much struggle.Overall I'm happy with the case and do recommend it for anyone looking for an inexpensive mATX build that will look great.PC Specs:AsRock B365M Pro 4 Motherboardi5 9400F8GB TeamGroup RAM 2133Mhz (two modules)RX 570 4GBTeamGroup SSDEVGA 650W Power Supply ATX (non-modular)ID Cooling Low-Profile CPU Fan (IS-47-XT)x4 Corsair SP120 RGB Fans with Commander Core
