I like these but I wish there was a way to install them somewhere more permanent as mine keep getting shoved under the couch they work though

I tried this with my dog who is about 15 pounds. If you don’t hit it right in the middle, it won’t work. It is easy to record. The volume is good as you can control your loudness by moving the product closer or farther away. You just can’t hit it in the sides for it to work. My little dog couldn’t just slap a paw down or boop it. Would work for bigger dogs.

I sing to the dogs and set them under their beds. They get very curious and love my singing. I imagine when I'm not there my little boy dog howls along with my voice.
