Item looks better than the advertisement photo. I ordered it because it came under the amazon search for salad bowls. However, I later found out that it is not suited to wet foods. In spite of this, I am still using it for wet salads and it is absolutely fine.It was also slightly smaller than what I ordered, nevertheless, I really love this bowl and have ordered another.

Nicely made, uniform colour, no flaws in the wood, nice finish, tho some more waxing didnt do it any harm before use.

Good solid bowl, appears to be made from one piece of wood so hoping it will last despite occasional moisture contact. Expanding its dimensions to, say, 6 inches (h) x 12 inches (w) would make it even better for use with a wheeled salad chopper though the currently offered largest size works with care and avoids use of plastic bowls.

I prefer this fruit bowl to previous ones as the fruit doesn't get marks/cuts. It is easy to clean and a good size. I would recommend.

This bowl is tiny, unfinished and was not sanded and feels like rough cut wood.

Love it for pasta salads and fruit salads.I recommend treating it with some chopping bored oil
