This was my second kit from this company and both turned out very nice. For $20? It makes a great rainy day project.

Awesome christmas gift for brother.

Cool little knife kit. Handles weren’t exactly book-matched on the mini cleaver, and turned out different from each other, so I made my own out of different material. It didn’t look bad, just would have been nice to have them match up. Advice: if you have forstner bits, use them for the counterbore instead of the provided larger drill bit. Other than that, easy to read instructions, quality shave-sharp blade, and makes a neat gift. Bowie knife was a breeze. The scales were cut much nicer and matched up easier for a quick and easy finish. Nicer pins could have been used, but these were easy to peen and soft enough to not split scales. Take your time, enjoy the process, two thumbs up!

Went with different pens and a gloss finish came out Not looking too bad for a first knife, blade is reasonably sharp out of box but not hard to put a really nice edge on
