I played this with friends and had to order is as soon as I got home! It’s a lot of fun and surprisingly addictive, with just the right amount of strategy and luck. It is easy to learn and play. The rules are simple, so even younger players can join in without any trouble. With quick rounds that only take about 10 minutes, it’s the perfect game to play a few times in a row or as a warm-up for a longer game night. It’s cutthroat in the best way, adding plenty of laughs and excitement to the table. I highly recommend Mantis for anyone looking for a fun, fast-paced game that works for all ages. This is a fun, easy game. My kids picked it up very easily, even my 6 year old. They enjoy playing it.The back of the cards gives you a peek at what the front might be so you can plan your move, steal from someone else's "tank" or try to score from your own "tank". It's a great way to teach your kids how to make smart decisions based on percentages (I have 2 out of those 3 colors, you have 1. Which is the better decision? Odd?) It's a very quick playing game, too quick in fact, for my family. We continue until the deck in exhausted instead of stopping when someone has scored 10. It's nice you can play easily with only 2 players or up to 6. We've only tried 3 or 4 so far though.Highly recommend. Enjoyable for kids and adults.

Got this game for my game loving 5 y/o. We play it almost daily with 2- 5 players. So much family fun! The colors are fun and we love picking our favorite mantis of the day. The game moves quickly so everyone pays attention. Easy enough for a 5 year old but fun enough for an older crowd too!

I bought this game to as a gift for family that we could play over the holidays. It was definitely a hit with everyone. It's very quick to teach (great for playing with friends who have low tolerance for complex games) and each game is relatively short (~10-15 mins). There is a lot of player interaction, which I really appreciate. The game has a breakdown of 60% luck to 40% skill, which can make for a fun party game, since no one person can really dominate.

This is a great game that does not require a lot of setup or explaining rules. I have enjoyed playing it in groups of 3-7 people, ranging in assorted ages from 5 to adults. It's nice to have a fast-moving game to play with children that is fun for everyone. Definitely recommend!

Easy easy 5 stars. Simple while still having strategy. Kids are in love with it and we even 3d printed a case for this baby so we can make sure it is taken care of as they all want it to last as long as possible.All the kids get involved from ranges of 5-13 along with the adults and it is a blast.

Just opened the game when our family came for a visit. I'm disappointed and don't understand why the cute little book about mantis shrimp was not included (Why the Mantis Shrimp Is My New Favorite Animal). I was already familiar with the game, and I think it's a lot of fun and easy to play.
