Victorinox4.3301 Swiss Army Knife Multitool Oil

I bought this figuring that Victorinox knows what kind of oil is good for a multitool. It comes in a teensy, tiny bottle that will require alertness not to lose. Despite the size, I expect the contents will be enough for a long time. Typically you need only one tiny drop on each side of a joint. The needle-nose tip lets you target an exact small area — super useful. I guess this would be classified as light machine oil. It has low viscosity, but it clings well. Using this on an old Wenger knife made it easier to open the tools. I also used it on a new Leatherman multitool.

This has to be the most I've paid for something so tiny, but it was well worth it. I spent a good amount on my Swiss Army Knife, so it only seems right to spend a little more on its maintenance. I live and backpack in a very sandy environment, and nothing got the sand out of my knife until I got this oil. There's nothing more cringe-inducing than the scraping sound of metal on sand every time you open your expensive blade. But seriously, this bottle is tiny. Whatever you're thinking, picture something half that size. Now picture something smaller. That said, I was generous with my usage on every hinge, and I still have about 99% of it left. This will last as long as the knife. Good buy.

The oil goes a long way, so do not worry about how small the bottle is. It does not take much. I re-oiled my entire Victorinox Swisschamp knife and the bottle barely looks like any is missing. This oil is great. The fact that it meets NSF H1 requirements means it is a food grade lubricant and is safe to use on items that may come into contact with food(like food processing equipment). Bottom line, highly recommended! You wont regret it over another lubricant(and trust me, I have tried several).

Works well but its really spendy. I saw other sellers for this and thought if this costs this much there much be twice as much as the other sellers. Not the case its just is over the top spendy. Was going to return it but it was more hassle than it was worth.

I really like the product.I just ended up cleaning and lubricating my pocket knife and the difference is amazing. Mine was in good need of this process, it was getting really hard to open.I also really like that is food safe... so I don’t have to worry about that.The only thing I don’t like is the price and that is the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It’s a bit too expensive... although I know it will last me years because you just use a small drop every time.I gonna upload some pictures and a video in case it helps anybody.
