Works perfect!
I'm using them as a link between a PoE switch and a regular switch which has a third module linking to the fiber optic router. You simply plug them in, plug in the proper network cable, (you need cat 8 to get 40Gb and cat limits you to 10Gb) and you now have a working connection.

Works great
Bought these to connect a fiber optic cable to two Meraki switches and they worked splendidly. Very dependable.

Works for my UDM Pro
I got this after reading online that this could be a workaround for the PPPOE slow speed issue on the UDM Pro. It works. Instead of plugging into the regular RJ45 wan port, I plug into the SFP port on the UDM Pro and my speeds went back up to normal. I was getting 750/650 previously and with the SFP port, I'm getting 900/900 or so. Good and cheap workaround for this issue.

Works great in Ubiqiti Unifi Switch 8 150 watt POE.
Used this to link my Unifi switch to my Unifi USG so all 8 ethernet ports would be open for POE devices. Worked right away with no configuration needed. Just inserted in SFP port and plugged in RJ45 ethernet cable and it was online with no hassle. I then used the 1000Base-SX fiber optic SFP module from same mfg to connect the second SFP port on the Unifi Switch 8 150 watt to my Netgear GS724Tv3 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Pro Switch SFP port. These are great SFP modules at a fraction of the cost of the modules recommended by each switch mfg.

A testpen works great. 4
Bought 4 of these for Unifi switches (US-24 and US-24-250W). All 4 worked without a hitch.2 of them served to trunk between the switch, 1 as a uplink to the router and 1 as dedicated link to a home server.A few things I want to point out1. They do work as an extra network port, though they won't be auto-negotiating.2. NONE of them heat up.3. Getting them out does need a bit of finesse. A testpen works great.4. I did a simple throughput test from the server through switch 1, switch 2, Google wifi and out through fibre broadband (subscribed 1gbps link) and hit close to 800mbps down and 900mbps up. Guess they are switching alright.Best bang for buck network gear I have bought.

Works well - fantastic customer support
Rock solid for just shy of 3 years when it failed. Failure most likely caused by EMP (traveling down a long ethernet cable running into the attic) from lightning strike nearby which caused this item and a connected smart switch to fail. Just guessing on the reason for the failure - but what is most important is how quickly and painlessly this vendor honored the warranty and replaced the item. Plug it in and it works - enough said.
