Didn't work at all

So, this bowl is lovely. It's a little rough inside, but ultimately it's not like you're putting your fingers in there a lot and it probably needs to be rough for friction (if I had to guess).When I unboxed, I was REALLY struggling to use with seed beads at first, until I figured out why:If you can't get it to work, it's because of the NEEDLE, not the bowl. It's not curved enough, it'stoo L shaped. When you spin the bowl and put the needle in, it only picks up a couple at a time or worse, the end of the needle hits the bottom of the bowl and scatters beads everywhere. I tried it several times, made a huge mess, and got mad. Then I watched some how to videos and realized that the needles people were using were shaped more like loose fish hooks.If you can't get it to work, do yourself a favor: take a pair of pliers and bend the needle more. Spin the bowl counterclockwise with your left hand,, and in your right hand point the hook back towards yourself. Skim it along the top/middle of the beads (be careful not to hit the bottom of the bowl). After a few tries, you'll get the hang of it 😊User beware: check that your seed beads can make it over the eye of the needle before buying three $10 bags.

Usually fine means not great* but considering the quantity of beaded items she’s made since it’s arrival and the use she’s getting out of it, coupled with zero eye rolls when I asked about it, I’m a very satisfied customer!*disclaimer: she’s 12 and in middle school now, so anything remotely positive can be multiplied by a few factors. If you have, or have ever had, a preteen girl, you probably know what i mean. ;)

I feel compelled to write a review because of all of the poor ones before this. This things is amazing. i have zero complaints. Used with size 8/0 beads to make waist beads and took 15 minutes for a first timer.

There is a Hole in the wood which they filled with putty, but DID NOT Sand it smooth inside the bowl, leaving this BIG Glob of putty inside the bowl - See Photos. You can see the hole goes all the way through and they sanded the outside, but left the Glob of putty on the inside!Also, when you spin it it VIBRATES and WOBBLES due to the fact that the Bowl IS NOT Centered on the shaft! You can see it wobbling and hear the vibration in the Video. Also, I'm not sure if there is supposed to be such a Big Gap between the Bowl and the Base.More Chinese JUNK headed for the Trash!
