KAI Japanese Nail Clippers With Side Nail File, Stainless Steel, Made in Japan

I believe everyone should own a pair of nice nail clippers. These have been such a great investment and something I’ve recommended to multiple friends over the past few years I’ve had them. These nail clippers don’t snap your nails off like cheap ones do and actually do a great job trimming them, even my thick toenails. The catch works extremely well and is easy to remove after use. However, the best part about this nail clipper that I wasn’t expecting was the built in file on the catch. I have eczema and often find myself scratching, so I used to have a whole routine to filing my nails after cutting them, that way I wouldn’t tear through skin from freshly cut nails, and this has single-handedly replaced that. Since the nail clippers themselves already do a great job cutting your nails, there’s less to file in order to get them smooth, and this has made it super convenient.I’d say the weight and size of this take a bit getting used to. When I first started using it, I found the size of the catch to be a bit big and interfered with my sight while seeing where I was cutting, but you soon get used to it and it’s not even something really think about anymore. It’s weight definitely gives a premium feel to it and actually feels pretty good in the hands.

If you haven't gotten a good pair of nail clippers, you have no idea how much better it clipping your nails can be. Without exaggeration, this is some of the best money I've ever spent. I will never go back to standard nail clippers. Nothing flying across the room. They cleanly and quickly cut exactly where you expect. If it's not long enough to get the whole nail at once, it won't rip out or tear another portion of the nail. You always end up with a clean, one-piece nail that stays in the clipper until it's tilted into your hand or into the trash can.

Pretty good overall, but I am not so impressed with the plastic enclosure - I feel like it takes away from the quality of the clippers. They are otherwise REALLY well constructed, but the plastic enclosure feels really cheap and flimsy. Probably gonna just carry it without the plastic and be done with it.

This product is on another level. You can literally feel your nails getting cut instead of snapped/cracked. The end result of these cuts are so smooth, it lowkey feels like your nails are sharp. You definitely should file your nails after you use this nail clippers.My girlfriend has gel nails so she usually files her nails down when it cracks or chips but even she began clipping her nails cause these nail clippers actually cut through the gel and nail cleanly.

Great product - all of Kai’s products are good. Don’t waste your money on cheap clippers - you can get excellent ones for only a few dollars more.

Loving pocket knifes kai, must admit these were a let down. Poor ergomics and hard to get on finger and toe nails. Large but sharp.

Ultra-sharp stainless steel. Clean cuts, no snagging. Integrated file is handy. Durable Japanese make. Excellent for neat nails.
