Easy Installation
This is the snap in type, not the bolt down type.It was a snap to install it, and it works perfectly, no leaking.Highly recommend this replacement for American Standard Toilets.

OK if you need a challenge
It leaked more than the one I was replacing. Save your time (but not your cash) and get the American Standard 047107-0070A Flush Valve Assembly instead. It's twice the cost, but has the complete valve seat assembly and a much better rubber flapper. Don't do what I did and purchase this and then after a frustrating week give up and purchase the AmStan OEM part from Amazon.

Replacement Tilt Valve Low Profile
This valve was purchased to replace an old valve. It was easy to install and it works perfectly. I give it a five star rating.

Doesn't work.
Opens up and won't close properly. The thing bounces open and shut as the tank fills, never allowing the flush cycle to complete. Had to take it out and get a different model.
