Not just camera, mic also too good. Yes, I am impressed with the mic this camera has, while camera also good. I compared Rode podmic and videomic ntg mics with inbuilt mic of this camera, both Rode devices not doing well even at little distance from mouth, so not suitable for tech presentations. Whereas this camera inbuilt mic did very good job even at distance.

I bought this camera for myself after my work sent me a very low resolution one that wasn’t fit for purpose.This came up on all my searches as one of the best available for its resolution and functions. At the time I was feeling a bit guilty because it’s not cheap, but I got it on the Amazon 5-instalment plan and I’m super glad I did!It has very good resolution and quite a few functions to adjust positioning, lighting, white balance, colours, and you can even do banners, add text and flip yourself vertically if you want.Yes, you do have to download a small bit of Logi software and keep it open in the background if you’re using Zoom or Teams, otherwise the camera doesn’t communicate with them on its own, however I don’t find it annoying at all and I don’t see it causing any negative impact on my computer.I have multiple video appointments with clients everyday and it never gives me any problems. The only small disadvantage is that sometimes there seems to be a tiny delay in the comms, but I’m not sure if that’s down to the camera or the oversaturated internet now that we’re all working from home.One thing to notice is that the camera is 4K ready, but you need to have a 4K capable computer for it to work properly. I do, but my monitor is 2K unfortunately, so I use it at a lower res. But believe me, even at 720pp this is the best image in a webcam I’ve ever had!

But the StreamCam's auto-focus and face tracking have my back. I can move around, and it still keeps me in perfect focus. It's become my trusty sidekick for streaming and content creation. If you want to up your game and don't mind adding some lighting to your setup, this webcam is a solid choice. No faults with the camera- it is clear, sharp, and the autofocus and white balance is great. However, it pushes for the use of their 'Logi Capture' software.I used this software to mess with the focus, framing, etc. This software outputs as a video device for use in things like Discord, Teams, OBS, etc.If the Logi Capture is not the active window, it absolutely tanks the framerate for its camera output (tested in Discord and OBS) and gets an increasingly large delay until it just stops. However, using the camera directly in OBS and Discord does not cause this issue. This took me HOURS to figure out and fix. The settings changable in their software are changable in other softwares, such as OBS, so there is no reason at ALL to use their half-baked software.

Picture and sound quality has been great for Microsoft Teams calls during work. From my video preview, the image quality is excellent, and not had any issues being heard in meetings. The camera itself feels really good quality, and has a good mounting solution so it fits on my monitor perfectly.The camera was a bit larger than I was expecting, but that's my own fault! See the attached image as an indication, it's sitting on a 32" monitor. The cable is quite chunky, but has reasonable flex so was able to route it without too much issue.(Update: Teams hasn’t had any issues since end of November, so whatever was causing the problem has been fixed). Teams does not seem to like it sometimes, my voice can be distorted and "sounds like a robot", but a switch to the internal MacBook microphone and then back again fixes it. It's probably an MS Teams issue rather than the camera, but just noting anyway.
