Better then acrylic

Unconventionally used with out a screen, and went with applying by paint brush to recieve a more authentic personal unique touch to my Tshirts and hoodies.i will definitely continue to experiment and expand.

Reliable and Long-Lasting Ink for Screen Printing!

I’ve been using Speedball Ink for shirts for about five years now, and it's become my go-to choice since I can no longer find it at Hobby Lobby. Thankfully, I found it on Amazon, and I actually prefer purchasing it here because it's more affordable than what I used to pay in-store.This ink is fantastic! I’ve printed designs on shirts that I've had for several years, and the ink has never come off, even after multiple washes. While there may be a slight fade over time, it still looks vibrant and sharp, which is impressive. One of the best features is that it’s water-based, making cleanup a breeze. If I spill any, I can quickly wipe it up, and I don’t have to worry about it staining my sink or workspace. That said, depending on the garment you choose, there can be some bleeding. I primarily use Gildan and Comfort Colors, and I’ve never noticed any bleeding with those brands. However, with cheaper materials or brands like Bella+Canvas, I have seen slight bleeding through to the other side. But it’s minimal and doesn’t affect the overall look of the shirt.Overall, Speedball Ink is a great product, and I’ll continue using it for all of my screen printing projects. Plus, they offer multiple colors that work just as well! When it comes to durability, it’s pretty great. I have never notice that it fades except slightly over many many washes in many years of wear, and it’s really not something you can tell. I can only tell because I usually pay attention to detail. It has a lot of thickness which is great but it’s not so much that you could feel it on the shirt so it looks very natural on the shirt and doesn’t look like any kind of transparency.

Better than Speedball fabric printing ink

I've tried in vain to get the Speedball fabric printing ink to work for printing tee shirts and I've never been completely successful. Ordered this as an alternative to see if I could get decent coverage printing my rubber block carvings. Worked really well on a test tee shirt. Consistency is thinner than fabric ink so it requires that you roll a little more ink on than usual but it has a superior finish. Good coverage, no rough texture. You need to heat set with an iron to set the ink but it's worth the extra step. Will buy this again for linocut fabric printing.

COLORS SYNTHETIC HAIR!

This review will probably not help most people looking at this item, but I have to share my success. I watched some you-tube videos showing how to color synthetic hair & then bought this ink & one in dark red to color my synthetic light reddish or copper hair to darker, less bright burgundy. I poured 70% isopropyl alcohol in a clear spray bottle, then spooned a little of this ink with some red in the bottle to make a purplish color. I then sprayed the mixture on some of my cheaper scrunchies first to test it. The brown one with yellow-brown tones did not end up well. But the bright light copper "tousled" curly scrunchie ended up very usable. It is still slightly lighter than my hair, but will work fine. The ink does make the hair less shiny, but that is a good thing since some synthetic hair is too shiny & my hair is very dry, frizzy, & dull looking anyway. I have some spray oily hair gloss that improved the sheen. You can always go darker with this ink, but not lighter with synthetic hair.A word of caution: I did not listen to others that said to use this in a well ventilated area like outdoors. I have a poor sense of smell probably due to chronic allergies & sinus problems & the smell really did not bother me when I was using it. But it later caused awful migraine-like headaches. I recommend using a mask when you spray if you have to use this indoors. I sprayed over a very, very large bowl I use when I color my human hair pieces. I bet this stuff might stain a white sink. I rinsed in a stainless steel sink & scrubbed it immediately after. Some recommend letting hair dry over several hours or a day or two before washing, then using some type of spray conditioner. This is much easier & simpler than the "sharpie" method which I have not tried yet.The pictures are of the same scrunchie, same brand, type & color: one colored & one not.One lady used a mix of black & burnt umber ink to make a light silver blonde wig a pretty brown color.

Great for my craft!

I used this to paint some kitchen dish towels. I used white, waffle weaved (textured) towels and black paint. I used artichokes cut in half lengthwise, slathered on the paint and pressed them on the towel’s border. They came out fantastic! Sent some to my sister and have two for myself. I have sooooo much paint left for another project. Really nice product.
