This set of Viewstar Down-Alternative, Gusseted Queen sized pillows is everything I've been looking for. First and foremost, they arrived in vacuum sealed packaging, so I know they're free of any dust or contaminants encountered on their way to my door. Upon breaking the seal and removing them from the plastic they fluffed up quickly. After shaking them a little, they fluffed up even more. Pressing into them with my open hand they felt soft to medium-firm. Not too firm, nor too soft. They felt fluffy, soft, and squishy but with a little resistance.After sleeping on one of these pillows I'm happy to say that they are extremely comfortable. It cradles your head nicely without flatting out under your neck, so yes, they definitely offer support in that area. It did not cause excessive heat and it retained its shape. I used a 100% cotton zip closure pillow protector over the pillows before putting on my pillow cases. It was tight fit to get the zipper done because of how lofty and fluffy the pillows are. (I think the zipped case will help them retain their shape in the future.) My head did not slide off the pillow, my neck had good support, and I slept like a baby the first night. I'm hoping that trend continues! Will update in the future.

Pillows are rolled, and vacuum sealed inside of the received box.Size-I ordered standard, and the second picture shows you the difference in size. I was pleasantly surprised these are larger than a standard store purchased pillow.Firm-My husband is the one who wanted firm, and he said after two nights sleep they are in fact firm, although to the touch are very soft.Hight-They are double the height of a standard pillowLength-The fit a queen bed from side to side when both are put side by side.Washing was a important to me, and these can be washed!Directions/Instructions-Follow the instructions on the box. I did every step and they fluffed up to beautiful pillows!I will need pillows for myself and if the vendor has a soft version, I would be interested!

These pillows are very good quality and probably worth the money other than I found them too firm for me and it was giving me a lot of neck pain. I’m also a small person (64 years old, 5’1, 110 pounds) so that could be part of the issue. If you are a bigger person and like a firm pillow then these pillows are for you.They won’t go to waste, I’m replacing my guest bedroom pillows with these. I bought new pillows in a local dept store where I could actually try them out before I bought them. Here’s hoping to a better night sleep.

Talk about comfort and quality! WOW!!! These excel in both areas. Follow the directions and allow them to “un-shrink” themselves overnight. Then follow the enclosed directions on how to fluff your pillows.They don’t collapse under the weight of your head as most pillows do. The fabric is nice and there’s no strange chemical smell! I fall asleep as soon as I put my head on this pillow. Couldn’t have asked for better!!!

After 4 months of nightly use, these pillows haven't flattened at all. I'm a back sleeper who sometimes rolls on my side and smooshes the pillow up to watch TV in bed, and this pillow un-smooshes with no issues. It's a little bigger than the queen pillow case. This pillow is fluffy and comfortable and until just now, I totally forgot about the headaches I was getting with my old pillow. I highly recommend this one, and even bought myself a backup for when this one goes flat.

Incredibly thick/firm for me personally. Just even side sleeping they were so thick it stretched my neck to an unrealistic position. And even though the material is “soft”, the pillows are very overfilled. They definitely “shrink” when you lay on them, but they are like 8 inches thick to begin with, and once they do compress—and only where you put all your body weight— it’s like a brick. But like a springy brick fighting with you to fluff back up all night if you dare to move a millimeter. Forget about using them in an envelope style pillow case unless you want an unfair advantage in an MMA style pillow fight. Be prepared for an assault with a deadly weapons charge though.If the center had a like a head shaped divot or if there were just even rationally filled I think I could *maybe* get behind them.If you like hotel style pillows, but wish they were firmer and thicker and nothing like hotel pillows—then these are probably for you.If you need a pillow you can sink into and switch positions and actually sleep on—like at a hotel—this is not the one.Giving 3 stars as the pillows themselves aren’t bad—just not what I thought I was buying. The conflicting reviews don’t help either.
