Q: How many of these diapers should I purchase for my newborn?

We referred to Cloth Diapers for Beginners’ guide to newborn diapering. We had 20-24 total diapers, including all-in-ones, prefolds + covers, and one package (6 total) of these pockets. You’ll learn what you like and what works best for your baby before investing into the one-size diapers for infants to toddlers. Our little guy is 11 weeks, 12lbs, and still in newborns (though graduating to one-size), and we wash every 2 days.

Q: I ordered on. 3rd and it still hasn't shipped yet why not?

Q: Would these fit over a fitted diaper if just the cover was used with out the insert?

Depends upon the fit of the fitted. I only used the diapers with their insert and they are fairly trim on their own. However, they only fit my baby for the first month and a half before she grew out of them, so unless your kiddo is a peanut, I would look for newborn covers instead.

Q: The instructions say do not bleach, but as you scroll down, it says you can bleach to avoid mold. Which is correct?

Yes bleach is strong and can damage if used regularly. Bleach is only necessary after many uses (or if they aren't being properly washed) example:sometimes baby keeps rashing out of the blue then its time to soak in bleach always following instructions on bleach bottle. Color doesn't fade if used properly. As a cloth diapering mom of two i would bleach every 2 months (or if they had an infection) regardless just to keep them germ free
