Murderous Maths of Everything Paperback – January 1, 2011

My son (now 10) has the entire Murderous Maths series of books. He loves math, loves reading, and these books have a permanent place in his collection. He always has one or two in his backpack. A fun look at math, well worth checking out. I would suggest starting out with Awesome Arithmatricks for younger kids. Murderous Maths Guaranteed to Bend your Brain is a good start for older kids. Five stars on these books!

The Hardbound collection includes tips and bits it feels like from the rest of the series while further exploring concepts you come across in those other volumes in the series.A great addition to my classroom.The kids find it interesting that a mad scientist is on the cover (so by that point i have them hooked before they catch that it will be educational as well) and then it will give them insight and possibly a new angle on the concepts they learn in my classroom.
