Al Bohsali Maamoul Pistachio Filled Shortbread Cookies - 24 Individual Pouches

This is so delicious, not too sweet and very fresh. I sent the box to Japan for my friends to taste it.

Thank you Bohsali.I recommend to include an ingredient label on the product, it is posted online, but not included with the shipped product. Also if you could place a customer label inside to show who the package was a gift from, I surprised my aunt she had no clue who send it to her, no label from who bought the gift for her.

What happened, Bohsali?The quality isn't the same. The Maamoul is now smaller and flatter and is brittle and drier as a result.Previous Review: A Welcome Change to the Recipe... Good Job Al Bohsali.I purchased the Al Bohsali Maamoul Pistachio 24 pc.THE BADWhen I first opened the box and removed the protective individual cover, I almost had a heart attack... The maamoul was not the typical elongated pistachio maamoul... It had the shape of the Dates Maamoul that I hate beyond words.I was going to call Amazon and ask for an immediate refund...Still, I developed the courage to open the mamouul with extremely high blood pressure, I was soooo relieved to see pistachios not dates.THE GOODAll is good afterwards... The protective cover has been changed now to very dark green, the "new" round and thick shape allows AL Bohasli to put in more Pistachio filling, and much less dry and crumbly semolina-butter dough. THAT alone kept the dough moist and cohesive. Sinking your teeth into such delightful mamoul is a total sin... and it gives you the full bite you remember from Lebanon....Congratulations, Al Bohsali... I now fully recommend the "new" Bohsali Maamoul Pistachio 24 pc.

It’s yummy but the dough needs more butter, their baklava is better

These are the best maamoul we’ve ever had. Not too sweet (which is how it should be), fresh, and full of pistachios inside. Please do not change any of it ever. Wish the price was down a bit.

ive had the maamoul from the store that you buy in a box. These have a nice initial taste and texture, but after having 4 pieces, there is a strange lingering metallic aftertaste--even several hours after! Not a pleasant, nutty-buttery aftertaste as is normal with maamoul. I will be throwing the rest away as I suspect this might be an ingredient quality issue, especially since you get quite a few pieces for a low price. I would rather pay more for better quality. Will be moving on to try the zalatimo brand maamoul next!

Pistachio maamoul is delicious. High quality food with excellent packaging and shipping speed. I wish it is a little cheaper so I can afford having it all the time! Date maamoul is good too but it’s large and filled with too much date paste, the dough is made of semolina and the taste is not like other buttery maamoul made of flour. In general it's tasty but pricey :(
