Bose SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen), Portable Outdoor Speaker with Hi-Fi Audio, Up to 12 Hours Battery Life, Waterproof and Dustproof, Black

Having recently bought a new MacBook Air, I was keen to find a portable Bluetooth speaker that would improve the MacBook's tinny sound. After having watched a few comparison videos on YouTube, I plumped for the Flex 2 SoundLink. It felt strange buying a speaker without hearing or seeing it, but I've had Bose products before and always liked their sound. Having used it for three weeks now I have to say I'm really impressed. It's so easy to use, immediately pairing to both my laptop and iPhone and for such a small speaker the sound is superb. Yes, it's not stereo, but the quality of the sound it produces is superb, neither tinny or boomy, just rich and surprisingly loud. I find it works best sat on a phone stand (I use the excellent Lamicall) and in conjunction with a portable Anker charger. Once charged, the battery lasts for hours (at least 10) and quickly recharges. Being portable and Bluetooth, you can take it anywhere you want, be it the bathroom or outside. The speaker can also be controlled via the Bose app which also allows you to alter the EQ levels (Although fairly basic, I imagine Bose will update the software at some point) All n all, I think this is a great little speaker - it has transformed listening to music on both my laptop and phone. Its understated looks and finish exude quality and the sound performance speaks for itself.

These speakers are the best money I've ever spent. Wanted Bluetooth speakers for mobility around the house and something compact and these fit the bill perfectly.The sound is absolutely amazing and I have heard new instruments on tracks I have played hundreds of times before and the sound is sharp with outstanding depth and breadth.We live in a normal size 3 bed semi detached house and I only need to play my music at the bottom of the volume range to fill the room with sound.My advice would be to purchase 2 speakers as I did to get the benefits of stereo sound by linking them as the difference in sound when playing on 1 or 2 speakers is like night and day.At first I thought that they were a little too bassy for me but realised that this is only on certain songs and playing either soul tracks recorded in stereo or orchestral/ classical music is out of this world.I have had more than my money's worth out of these speakers within a matter of weeks and continue to do so on an almost daily basis.Can be linked to smart TV but I had a bit of lip sync but I didn't buy them for that purpose so no issue for me and in any event TV settings can be adjusted to alleviate that issue.Charging time and usage time are better than what Bose advertise so can only conclude they err on the side of caution in their claims.I'm one very happy man.

The Bose Soundlink Flex portable speaker packs a mighty punch that totally belies its size, and when you are travelling that is important! It’s 12 hours running time is plenty for most situations, and charging is quick via USB C charging. It’s easy to pair via Bluetooth and you can connect to several devices! It is waterproof and dust proof so you can use by the pool or beach without concern! There is controls on the speaker to pair and change volume making it easy to use, and it has a solid feel, which gives confidence that it will last a long time. The sound quality is good and goes to a high volume without showing sign of distortion. I got it at a very good price via Amazon’s Prime sale event which just made it all the sweeter!

Do not be tempted to buy a cheaper speaker ( get this when on offer)It is excellent quality , it looks the partThe sound even when turning on is impressive and connect beautifully to my iPad and MacNo problem at allI brought this to replace my Apple mini speaker for holidays because it does not rely on Wi-Fi which can be problematic for the mini when weaker

This speaker is awesome!Needed a compact Bluetooth speaker with great sound quality. Bose deliver again! Warm rich bass, clear mids and highs. This thing packs a punch but also can sit happily in the background just creating an ambience.Battery lasts ages, no issues with connection or drop out. This thing now goes with me on all my trips and is the perfect bbq companion!!

The sound quality is as you would expect with Bose, this is my second mini speaker, the other lasted about years. Very easy to set up once you have downloaded the Bose app, well made and put together again as you would expect from Bose. I’ve no intention of testing the waterproofing,All round an exceptionally good piece of equipment

This packs a punch for its size. I was quite surprised to be honest. I got this for my uncle has he absolutely loves his music and likes to sit outside when the weather is nice. With him being blind he has no problem turning it on and using it as he uses his Amazon fire tab to control his music and volume ect. He is very much a critic when it comes to stuff like this and he gives it a 9/10. It’s built like a tank so there’s no worry if he drops it. And as always from Bose good sound quality and an absolute bargain at its price range.
