So it’s kinda heavy for its size. That means there’s lots of metal in this thing. That in turn leads to a very sturdy feel in your hand. The battery they use is quite right for this EDC flashlight. It’ll last a long time. And it’s rechargeable. Love the red light modes. Great buy. Excellent stocking stuffer.The magnet actually holds this flashlight right where you put it should you need hands free.

This mini rechargeable LED flashlight is amazing. Incredibly bright, with several modes (continuous white light high, medium, strobe, continuous red light medium, and red strobe). Double-clicking the power button enters the super-bright mode.I like the form factor, which makes this an excellent choice for every-day carry, and the design is modern and very functional. The squared-off front portion keeps it from rolling if placed on a table or other flat surface, even if slightly inclined. There's a pocket clip which can also be used to clip the light to other things, if necessary, and there is a super-handy, very strong magnet on the back end.The styling is great and the blue accent of the bezel against the otherwise black body makes it pop. (See photo.)The reason this only got 4 stars is the back end of the flashlight, where the magnet is (see photo). The bare metal magnet and magnet retainer ring make the flashlight look unfinished, like a step in the production process was missed. If this area was black like most of the rest of the light, it would look much more "upscale". Of course, this is only an esthetics issue and has nothing to do with the functioning of the flashlight. Based on performance, alone, this light would, hands down, be worthy of 5 stars and is very easy to recommend.
