KoboPlus not necessary but is an option for avid readers.
Great ereader—easy set up. Love the case holder. My only complaint is with the KoboPlus option because it isn’t explained clearly and appears you must choose it during set up.

Cracked along corners almost immediately
Cracked almost immediately. Don't love the fit, and feels a little lopsided with the "stand" out. The sleep/wake feature is nice, but the case itself is meh.
