First one I used for my dash cam didn’t last 48 hours. I found my camera on the floor and wires came out of grooves. I tried it again and the second one held up better until the temperature started to get to the high 70s/low 80s. Now the adhesive sags in the middle and I have to keep pushing the camera mount against the glass to reattach it. I used a big square one the second time so it’s area is bigger than the camera mount hoping it held better with more adhesive space on the window. I take the camera off the mount to keep the weight off of it when I’m not driving. But it’s only a matter of time (or temp increase) before I’ll have to find another way to mount my camera.

I drive for a living (~40,000+miles/year), and it is imperative that I have a dash cam in my daily drive. I had a windshield replaced, and they replaced the same pad to the new windshield. However once it started getting warm in Phoenix, AZ... it finally failed.I had no problem mounting the new sticky pad to the cleaned windshield: I just wish I could say the same for renovations the red protective cover. I had to try to get my vet short nails under the wrapped around cover. This took some time, as I was afraid of removing the sticky pad too... which some small bits did come off.It would have been easier if this product came with a small starter tab, to make getting this protective cover off without damaging the product underneath.

So far these work. However false advertising because I received 5. Not 6. Kind of disappointed but because I needed them to mount the monitor I really couldn’t send it back and get a full set.

I had to get my truck windshield replaced, and this was the same type of tape used for my original camera.So, the first thing to note is that removing the tape shows how great is at gripping the windshield, but it was not a struggle to remove it, meaning is well designed to keep affixed, but also so make it possible to remove the tape without too much work.For reattaching the camera I got a couple of these strips, cut one of them to size and affixed my camera to the replacement windshield with no problem.Extremely secure and zero issues with the Texas heat on the windshield.

I decided to get a dash cam, and put it up, and realized that I'm an idiot and stuck it too close to the rearview mirror, so I had to move it and it wouldn't stick again. By then, I had put the box "in a safe place" with the extra sticky pad. You know how that works, right? I couldn't find it for the life of me. I bought these, cut out the size I needed and viola! I see lots of applications for this in the future. They stick well. Recommended.
