I prefer it simple. Give me a pistol with a very bright light for close-quarter application, and that's all I need. No lasers, no red dots, and no gimmicks; just a full mag with a large frame pistol to put the riff-raff down that think they can get into my home or hurt my family. I pray I never have to use this defensively, but after inspection and practice I trust my life to this light and it is a big improvement from the previous light I had on my midnight "bump in the night" firearm. As it is adjustable, this light can fit a multitude of firearms but it fits my CANIK TP9SFX perfectly and I am grateful for the rechargeability of the design. Excellent product and it is exactly what I need. I just bought 2 more.

This flashlight is great! Super easy to install and it stays on. It fits great and the battery has good life. I'd buy again.

I like the magnetic charge port, that is a robust, waterproof solution. Easy to switch between the three functions (light, green dot, and combined), and nice to operate from both sides with index finger. Bright enough, has a good grip on picatinny rail (provided, you fasten the control bolt properly on the opposite side of the quick lock). The only flimsiness is the distortion on green dot that makes it resembling to a number 8 shape, instead of a tiny round dot, so I would rather call it a green patch, or blot. I found no way to get the laser in focus, so I have to get accustomed to this feature, and use laser sight together with iron sight at the same time to make the smallest group to my ability. This is why it is a four star product for me.

So I knew there had to be a solid option for a flashlight/laser combo without breaking the bank $200+. I decided to buy 2, one was the darkfang, this being the other. The darkfang was about 70% of the brightness of this one, and looked and felt like something out of a quarter machine (for those who remember those). this one is very bright laser is on pojnt and adjustable and is heavy duty with a solid feel. Only thing I would say the darkfang won on was it used a usb-c to charger where this one has a proprietary magnetic charging cable that if you loose it,...well yeah.

Only gave it 3 stars because it will fall off. I need to tighten it down as tight as I can. When you get it that tight you can’t use the quick release. Other than that the flashlight works great.

Rail clamp is set a hair too far forward to fit on a 1911 Commander and most compact pistols. On any 5" barreled pistol with a rail probably it's great and will have the paddle switches right there straddling the trigger guard.Mine found it's home on the fore stock (right at my fingertips) of my tactical Circuit Judge doing Nighttime Bear Security work. Generally the blinding strobe and a few loud commands have been enough to deter lingering at the Black Bear Food Court (Garbage Can).
