I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Did not realize how big it was. We were both impressed! It is a stunning piece for any collector. Quality built. Nice color. Comes with leather sheath.

This knife is beautiful and remarkably well made.

Practical in the sense that this is a sturdy, apparently well-made large Bowie knife that I assume will soon prove evident to be perfectly capable in providing more than sufficient usefulness in the completion of any objectives I or anyone else might have for such a beautifully crafted and detailed almost historically ironically timeless piece of work. Assuming that the only customers reading this review are those interested in a big ass Bowie knife type of practical. It screams Egyptian in the handle with the styling and blue/bronze & bone and obviously middle eastern due to the Damascus but I swear I’ll never even look at another Bowie knife the same after this one due to the fact that I now see a mini Scimitar Arabian sword in the shape ! Good tactical grip especially love the finger divider (make one with a full knuckle duster!?) & low reflectivity of the blade (my first ever Damascus ) … Hmm, what else, it comes in oil and sharp and yeah IDK about yall but I’m real picky about the shapes of my Bowie / hunting knife shapes and these guys got every single measurement on point congratulations & thank you VERY happy customer!- AJ

Huge fan of the Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife, and I would consider this dagger a damascus version of the F-S. For $39.99 purchased in late February 2025 I thought it was an amazing bargain, but there are some issues to take into account. The width of the blade is noticeably wider than a standard F-S fight knife so the proportion might look a bit off for those that are accustomed to the original design. The fit and finish is not too bad, no blade play edge to edge or face to face, the fitting between the blade and the guard is done well with no obvious gaps. The grind is not terrible but is slightly uneven at the tip and one of the four corners where the cutting edge ends. The damascus pattern looks nice, better on the blade and rather dull on the guard. I’m certain this is actual folded steel. The guard is slightly wider and larger in general than other F-S models. The tip of the blade shows discoloration from overheating during sharpening. There are some imperfections between the wood and damascus steel part of the handle, and the pommel has two opposing scratches that could be marks from a pair of pliers. Overall the problems are somewhat superficial and at least there is a surplus of material that can be removed from the knife to optimize its design as opposed to not being enough to do the original justice. Removed two stars for the flaws of the actual dagger and an unexpected delay where the item didn’t ship till 7 business days after the order.

This is a beautiful knife that is very well built. Other reviews said it comes covered in oil and the blue handle fades when you clean the oil off. I can only assume the seller has resolved this issue. There was a slight oily film that was easily cleaned off, and the blue dye didn't fade at all. Cool knife that is definitely worth the money.
