My 3 and 4 year olds are completely obsessed with this game. Especially my numbers obsessed son. It's excellent way to teach numbers, abcs, and shapes, with simple rules and fun popits. It taught my 4 year old to accept the dragons that un-pop your work, and how good it feels to win without cheating. My 3 year old is afraid of the dragon cards, and we realized it's also still fun to play after removing the dragons from the deck. Definitely worth the money!

An educational game that my 3 year old twins can PLAY with their 5 year old brother. This was SO fun and SO fantastic. Everyone was laughing and everyone wanted to play again!!! My 5 year old knows his letters and numbers well enough that he could help his brother and sister, and the twins appreciated the color coding for the numbers that helped them find the bigger numbers they are less familiar with. Multi sensory learning at its finest here!!!

Great starter for young children

This game is perfect for preschoolers and school-aged children who are learning their letters AND numbers. They even get a few shapes in there, too. It's very easy to play and the kids (boys and girls) go crazy for it! It comes with 4 sturdy, built-to-last pop-it boards with the letters/shapes on 1 side and the numbers 1-36 on the other side. The deck of cards has multiples of each card so all players get a chance to pop their board. The color of the letter or number also matches what's on the board as an extra hint; I only point this out if they really struggle to find the correct letter, and I've yet to see a student who figures this out on their own. The font on the cards doesn't exactly match the font of the letters on the boards, but I actually like it that way because children need to learn that just because the style of the writing is different, it doesn't change the letter. And books come in different fonts so they need to be able to read it all.Students that I work with who are still learning their letters/numbers beg for this game! It really is a fun way to learn and I HIGHLY recommend it!

This game was tested out in a second grade classroom and the kids ask to play! This is two games in one....you can practice letters/shapes or numbers. Thr premise is simple: players take turns flipping over a card and either popping (unicorn) or unpopping (dragon) the 3 letters/shapes or numbers that are shown. The 3 you get to do are always in a sequential order and to help keep organized, the color on the outside of the card matches the color row on the pop it. I thought that might make it too easy but it kept the game going at a good pace and still required kids to look. The popping and unpopping makes the game takes twists and turns so you don't really know who will win. Overall, a great value for a high interest game!
