bought it for a camping trip. worked as intended.

Initial review upon receipt. Looks exactly like the image, but looks can be deceiving. Contacted seller before purchase to verify if a true 16 ounce press and bottom diameter. Seller responded promptly. Yes, it holds 16 ounces and diameter 2.75" at base... to verify fit inside car holder. This press has a 2.75" base, one quarter inch wider than Bodum 16 oz press at 2.5". This press can hold 16 ounces, but IMHO is designed as a 12 oz press. More photos to follow, ^$&%$@ iPhone.Seller has no access or help regarding replacement plungers, just like every other travel press seller I have asked, especially Bodum; who no longer make a 16 oz press - boo hiss. Once the plunger dies, waste money on a new press. Too many expletives....!If you fill this press to 16 ounces, no room to install cap. Inside smooth walls rise until reach a first ring, just like Bodum press, this is the fill ring... at 12 ounces. Gives the cap room to allow insertion of plunger and comfortable seating. I have images of side by side comparisons with 16 oz Bodum (7.125" height) versus new 6.25" height. The Bodum plunger is longer but each screen appears identical. Of course I must test if I just bought a replacement plunger for my Bodum. The caps appear to be interchangeable, fitting snugly. More testing required.I will put my terrier on downloading photos of plungers and looking inside each press discussed.

I’ve never had a coffee press before, but I am impressed with this one! I use it camping and love it.

Was rather disappointed that it leaves a bit of liquid at the bottom of the mug under the strainer. I have to pull the plunger up and down more times than I like to in order to get as much of the liquid to come out from underneath it. It's a hassle for me. I tried just using it as a travel mug, but taking out the plunger leaves a hole in the lid.

This cup works ok, but not great. It doesn’t keep my coffee hot for long. The biggest issue is the description says it holds 16ozs. It actually only holds a little less than 12ozs.

My husband is usually able to pour his brewed coffee into his mug. But when he can't, this saves his life--or mine. He gets his caffiene.e
