HarkersCoxoid Pigeon Coccidiosis Treatment x Size: 500 Ml

We have lost chickens to a mystery "pooey bum" illness in the past despite various medical interventions so weren't sure if this would work. It has!! Our chicken was virtually moribund when we isolated her from the rest of the group and started treating her with coxoid-medicated water used to soak her feed. After a couple of days where it was difficult to get her to eat or drink anything, she slowly started to feed better, the diarrhoea stopped and now, 3 weeks later, she is markedly improved. I medicated her for two weeks and the whole group for the first week. We didn't eat the eggs whilst medicating them or for two days afterwards. We have moved all the chickens to a "clean" area of ground and I disinfected the huts and ground before rehousing them. If the chicken continues to gain strength, I will reintroduce her to the rest of the group and monitor carefully for future infection to nip it in the bud with remedication. We have a lot of wild pigeons around who feed from the chicken feeder, so this is probably how they got infected in the first place since coccidiosis is common in pigeons. Hopefully the pigeons also drank from the medicated water container and we've treated them too!
