Carpuride Air Outlet Bracket Suitable for 7", 9", 10.3" Portable Screen

Bought this to mount a CarPlay screen on the car vent. Works great. Easy to install. Note the matching connector to the screens back. Better than a compression type mount like used for phones. Had very little dash flat space to use the mount that came with the CarPlay unit. Now have easy access to the touchscreen right next to the steering wheel without covering any of the dashboard controls.

Perfect for use in a 2008 GMC Yukon XL. The holder fits nicely in a vent above the factory radio.

Bad design it came off two times the first 5 minutes of driving. Had to put wire on the part where it clips on the vent. To keep it stationary and not worry about catching the screen falling while driving.

Not sure why, but for some reason carpuride uses male on the mount on some units and female on the mount on others. I needed to build something they don't make, so I bought two and combined parts to create what I need. Solid components, good quality threaded collars, my unit stays solid no vibrations during normal driving. Highly recommended.

I've been through several different types of dashmounts for my carplay, and this is the best one I've ever had. It's stable and hasn't come loose or fallen off yet. Wonderful product.

This tool for the Carpuride was very easy to install next to my 2017 Toyota Sienna radio head. The Carpuride is a very good replacement of the radio head Scout GPS, which I did not like.
