My wife owns a classic ipod, but hates using itunes to fill it...THIS is brilliant as far as she is concerned.She uses it to listen to radio drama and with the memory card she can fill a couple and swap when necessary. The sound quality is surprisingly good although music snobs may sniff at it, for the spoken word it is really good.Although a little fiddlier and basic than an ipod it is perfectly fine, fits in a small pocket.In 5 months of using every day it hasn't missed a beat, the battery life is excellent and we could buy ten of these to replace the ipod.Great value for money.

Best mp3 player I have had great sound and plenty of volume which has been a bit of a problem with previous players in noisy environments. The controls take a bit of getting used to as they are not instant and do not mimic an Ipod. I downloaded Media Monkey and spent a bit of time transferring playlists from I tunes and this worked perfectly. Possibly the one drawback is that you cannot use playlists on the SD card but I only use the SD for my audio books which play perfectly well from their folders.I now even use Media Monkey for my old Ipod which has allowed me to dispense with Itunes which for me at least had become a real pain.

This little MP3 player is absolutely brilliant. It arrived 5 minutes ago, and I just plugged it into the laptop and dragged and dropped all my music onto it (it coped with iTunes and Windows Media with no bother). Headphones are very basic (but what would you expect for this price). The most important part is that the sound quality from this player is excellent. Brought this for an upcoming train journey where I just needed something lightweight that I could keep in my bag. Having said that, I think I'll be using this much more than I first intended. Glad I checked the reviews before buying, because I didn't believe that at this price it would be this good. Buy it. You won't regret it.

PROS: small, compact, light, relatively easy to interact with, reasonable battery life, simple on-off switch...the item is a good size, and feels pleasant in the hand.it's not over-complicated and easy to get started using swiftly.CONS: backlight too dull - can't see menu item while moving over it, repeat function limited, menu navigation a bit laborious...i'd be giving this a much higher rating if it had a better display - it's really hard to see the menu items while moving through them, especially the one currently selected (unreadable while selected) - it's the thing that lets it down the most.the device/menu navigation is a bit laborious and less than intuitive, but you can find your way around easily enough after a while.

Realy pleased with this. Bought it to replace lost sony, and the sound is just as good, crystal clear. Very easy to use and good value. Recommended to my Daughter in law who has bought a red one!

This MP3 simply doesn't work. Try as I might, I cannot get music loaded in any sensible order., or with any folders. It duplicates tracks, it misses out tracks, and, worst of all, I can't find most of what I loaded. I have created folders, and added music to them, subject to the above comments. The folders just disappear on the player, and most of the music has disappeared into a black hole. Yes, it's all there on WMP, but not on the device. The first time I loaded it, the device filled up, as it had duplicated or triplicated just about everything. Clearing it out and starting again didn't help. Therefore, it has never been used, as it is unusable. Just don't buy it.

Brilliant. Sound is great. It's Compact and fits well in my hand. Delivery was fast. The only downside is the radio doesn't seem amazingly clear but I got it for my music. I charge it about once a month and use it continuesly for 2 days a week. My husband was concerned about the quality due to the price so I compared ratings with an ipod nano? (the one that looks like this) and this product had a much smaller percentage of bad reviews to good than the ipod. So glad we bought it in the end. An absolute bargain

Bought for brother for Xmas to replace old cheap MP3 player which died after a few months. He's very happy with this and managed to get all the songs on easily (and he's one of the most un-tech savy people I know). Will amend review after he's has it a few months.I bought one for myself as well in June 2016 and am ok with it. Not as good as my husband's new Sony but cost a fraction of the price so ok. Annoying feature is having to load songs onto the memory card before putting extra memory into the unit as you can't drag and drop the files in via pc, this feature is only available on the included memory.
