Small size, tabs for screw mounting, works well
I needed this for a fan I'm adding for a fridge in our van, to move away excess heat. The existing system is 12 volt, and the new fan is 5 volts. Oops.This is perfect for giving me the voltage I needed without having to deal with a bunch of other stuff. Just add it inline and go.After seeing some of the reviews on other items, I figured I should text the output voltage before hooking it up. 5.07 volts when attached to my 12 volt power supply. That's well within tolerance. đź‘Ť

Stuffed in a fuse panel and used to power a dashcam
This device has been powering my dashcam for over four years with no issues. I used a fuse-tap splitter on a switched 12V rail and connected it to the power supply. The power supply itself is mounted with 3M double-sided tape inside the cabin fuse panel. The output then supplies a USB power lead to the dashcam. Very pleased with the performance and durability of this power supply!
