Why am I only finding out about these now?
After a strap inexplicably came loose I determined I need to have some kind of locking system. I thought about locking mechanisms (button and strap attachment), and while most of them had mostly good reviews, the ones I read about sudden failure concerned me. I tried the old-school rubber washers, but they frequently popped off the button unexpectedly. These locks are inexpensive and fail-proof. With a little practice they are easy to use - put the large hole over the button and push down and back on the protruding part at the top - it pops right in. To remove, grab the two "ears" with thumb and index and lift up while you push forward - come right off. I usually keep the strap on the guitar, but I take off the lock nearest the bridge which has the cord snugly through it. The lock stays on the cord, and when I use the guitar again, and plug in the cord and attach the clip. No matter how hard I pull, I can't pull the leather strap off over the button, but I don't even think of them as locks any more. The one near the neck just stay on with the strap, and the one near the bridge I just think of as cord clip, which gets put on the guitar when I plug in, but which has the added benefit of securing the strap.

Very Effective Strap Lock
Great option. Very effective step lock with the bonus that you can route your cable through it and take all tension off the guitar cable jack.

Stay connected
I like them. Solid and better than plugging in thru the strap.

Works well if your straps/strap button allows for it
I have one of those straps with thick leather ends. It eventually fit, super snug, secure. Kind of a pain to put on, which is why it's a 4 and not a 5. And realistically, if it was even marginally thicker it just wouldn't fit at all. I suspect that the strap button might pop off eventually due to the tension, but we'll see.

Thicker straps make it harder to lock.
Works great. I feel more comfortable about having my guitar hanging on my shoulders without it falling. Seems to be locked in place pretty well. Just know if you have thicker straps it may be harder to put the lock on. Had a hard time with one of my guitars. Hope this helps.

These Really Work.
Was pleasantly surprised what they did, especially for the price. Why not get them?

Great strap lock, bad cable holder
These are great at locking a strap in place, but it is difficult to attach the cable. For thinner cables it is okay, but for thicker cables it takes a lot of fiddling to mash it into the holder. It is much quicker and easier to just loop the cable through the strap.

Perfection Achieved
These are the only thing I can think of for my guitars that I would say is "Perfection Achieved"
