This is a good MP3 player for the money. I have had it for about a week and am still learning the menu controls. The wired earbuds work fine and the sound is good. The menu controls are not intuitive but can be learned fairly quickly. I'm 66 year old used to my old Zune player, so if I can learn to navigate the menu anyone can! There were reviews that said the screen turned off after a few seconds and you had to restart from scratch, I found that if the screen turned off all you have to do is click on the power button and the screen pops right back up exactly where you were. It is just a power saving device. Battery seems to be going to last a good amount of time between charges. When you download from your computer the songs go to the removable card so you have to look for them in the card folder instead of the local folder. If you want to download to the local folder just remove the external TF card before you start the download, simple as that. I have not tried to connect to Bluetooth yet so I can't comment on that. The best part is the customer service. Several reviews mention the great customer service and I 100% agree. I asked about how to set the player to shuffle the songs and received reply within 24 hrs with exact instructions on how to set up player so it shuffles through all the songs. There is a limitation on the number of songs you can put in a playlist and you have to manually add one song at a time to the playlist. You can make up to 3 different playlists on the go. Overall the player sounds good and is a great value. Would probably rate the player itself as a 4 but the customer service makes it a 5.

This MP3 player is a very good player with a lot of storage. The speaker works well and my wife loves this device. But, after about 10 months of ownership it just stopped working, the battery wouldn’t take a charge. I noticed on my original purchase information that this player had a one year replacement warranty. I contacted the company’s customer service and explained the problem. They immediately sent me a new MP3 player. Great service and backs up their warranty. The new player is working great. Thanks to Ivy at Customer Service.

I wrote a pretty negative review initially. I've come to realize that I was a bit unfair. This is a device that is not nearly as powerful, and not nearly as expensive as modern cell phones and such. Once I settled down and re-learned the old ways of navigating through menus and such, I found I could get the Bluetooth to connect to a portable speaker quite easily. The problem with ebooks is also due to (I suspect) me not deleting ebooks not actually in epub format from the directory on my computer before copying them over. While my linux laptop reader (and dbus) automatically find the right program to read nearly any doc, it's not fair to expect an inexpensive MP3 player to do this. The USB cord plug falling out of the USB jack turned out to be nothing more than a defective USB cord. I tried it with another, and it's a nice, snug fit. So my apologies for the negative (and incorrect) report. I will likely never store ebooks on this because of the small screen -- but that's not a negative. I just wanted a usable MP3 player that I could use to play my private collection of MP3 files over Bluetooth, and this does that just fine. For some reason, it loses track of all the files, and has to re-read them after every power down. This takes mere seconds. I don't know if I'll ever use the FM (haven't yet) though I'm sure it works fine. And in a disaster situation, over the air radio can become awfully important and useful. I suggest you copy your MP3 files from your computer to one of those microSD cards, and then move that card to your MP3 player. I suggest a bit of paranoia about inserting any card that comes with any device (not just this device) into another device of any importance.Now to answer the question that any modern mobile phone user is asking: Why don't you just use an app on your phone? My answer? I find it creepy that every little thing one does on a phone is tracked. If you don't, of course you should just use an app.

This MP3 is very good. I had it for a couple of years without any problems. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a friend as a Christmas gift. When I did have a slight problem, I was given a refund without any hassles, even though the warranty had expired. That's what I call customer service. I still recommend this unit as it worked really well for me and I was very happy with it. Good quality, easy to use and very reasonable price.

I was hoping for at least a good base-equalizer on this player but was disappointed to discover the normal sound was flat and the custom-equalizer distorts sound so much it cannot be used on those upper ranges. The menu navigation and display are good, and the voice-record works and doesn't seem to be producing a clicking sound I've heard on occasion with other players.I was going to return the player for the flat sound quality but I may keep it for the voice-record capability which is satisfactory for the price.

Nice replacement for 19 yr old Sandisk. I thought MP3 players were obsolete but they have their purpose. Saves phone battery and mush easier to carry. Little glitchy in some menu items. If your music is missing it was probably loaded onto the memory card which won't show in "all songs". They are actually in "card folder".When syncing the music check closely what it's loading to. Bluetooth connected smoothly. FM radio picked up every station when scanned. Gotta get used to NOT tapping the screen like a phone but that's a ME problem. Feels well built. Battery still shows full after 24 hours of playing with it. Ordering another to play holiday music outside via a bluetooth speaker.
