After recent total knee replacement surgery I had problems with edema in my calf. The Doctor and Physical Therapist said it was normal to have bruising and fluid build up below the knee. It would work itself out. In the meantime the bruises and swelling hurt anytime I laid down. My physical therapist suggested compression socks or sleeves and elevating my calf above my heart for a couple of hours a day. These Crucial sleeves were a tight fit a first given the swelling but they went on and felt great. I started wearing these sleeves just an hour a day during therapy and within 10 days I was wearing them for 8 hours. Within 2 weeks the bruising and much of the swelling was gone. No pain. Here's some tips. Ease into sleeves. Start with just an hour a day. Roll the sleeves up and slide them rolled over your toes and heel. Then stretch them out up to your knee. Make sure that they are fully rolled out at your ankle. Bunching at the ankle can reduce circulation to your foot and your ankle will swell. After a day or three soak and wash the sleeves with mild soap. They will stretch slightly over time; mostly at the top and bottom.

Pressure of compression leggings is great, wish they were a bit longer

My daughter uses these for volleyball games. She likes the support they provide. They are a good material that they hold up to washing.

I ordered their largest size but still ridiculously tight....can't get them past my ankles. I measured and ordered the correct size. Too much of a hassle to return them so lesson learned. Otherwise the quality of the sleeves seems top notch.

When I first got this, I wasn't happy. I thought they were too small and wouldn't fit. I even started writing an email to the seller to express my dissatisfaction as it couldn't even go pass my foot nor up my arm. But then I cooled down and really started to pull and pull and pull it up my foot after reading back the reviews.Reason for buying - I would get shin splints from running and would experience a pain in my calves when skipping.Did it work? = Yes! From the first time I used it, I felt no pain. The compression is unbelievable. I even forgot to use it a few times (like a month after) and there was no pain. I think this curbed that.Cons:- Leaves some indentations after taking off but that goes away once the blood starts to flow to the area again.- Extremely hard to put on because of the compression it provides. It's really a workout, understandably. It's easier to put on and take off with your socks on. It provides a little slide.Using my short pudgy 3 inches finger as a guide, you can see the dimensions of the sleeves in the images attached.

We ordered the calf compression, ankle, elbow and knee. Good quality and provides adequate compression during and after workouts. Would like to see a toeless compression sock offered

Too short (they don’t stretch very much and did not reach low ankle to high knee, even on my average length legs and I’m 5‘7“ tall), too tight (especially at the top & bottom band), after wearing for just a few hours, I had an actual bruise on my lower ankle along the bottom band line, and swelling below it, where foot circulation was not able to make its way back up. Also, the material is very yucky feeling. Scratchy, rough, itchy and not breathable. I have several other pair of compression socks from three different brands, none of them have that yucky scratchy, cheap fabric feel, but all of them give comfortable graduated compression and no tight binding feeling at all, even after wearing them for a full day. With those socks, I don’t even want to take them off at the end of the day… Unfortunately with these, I couldn’t wait to tear them off my legs. Judging from some of the positive reviews, they apparently work for some people, but unfortunately I will be returning these.

To be totally honest, I originally bought this for my arm because I was having surgery and found compression sleeves to help with both swelling and healing. It worked wonderfully, especially for scar reduction because the skin wasn't allowed to stretch.These also work great for actual calf compression. I can walk longer without pain and my ankles don't swell! These sleeves are really good quality and they don't bind or roll even if you have larger than average legs. Great product and will definitely buy more!

Found to be a bit snug at first.
