I can put one of these bottles in my purse for when my blood sugar drops. They taste good & they do raise your sugar quickly. I do recommend taking the protective seal off before you actually need to drink this. If sugar is already low & you are shaking, it would be very hard to unwrap that seal.

I've been purchasing the Reli-On brand liquid glucose shot for years. I tried this new brand and it works faster than Reli-On when using same amount of ounces per shot (adding more to Reli-On because it only comes in 1.5 ounces.... less than this new brand I was trying. The price is almost triple the price of Reli On so I only use it when my blood sugar level drops fast down into the high 30's or I am away from home. The texture of this brand feels different than Reli-On.The price needs to be more competitive with other brands.
