We had a Hamilton Beach custom grind for over 10 years. It was great, but stopped working. We needed a new one PRONTO but I couldn't find the exact one online. I read other reviews and decided on this one. It arrived the next day. We are very happy with it! It grinds well, is attractive and sturdy. We are happy!

Excellent product, it takes seconds to ground coffee. And you can also use it to grind up pills for yourself for your pets.

The removable chamber is a plus for this product. However, the grinder is very noisy when grinding. After few days of usage, the top cover started to get loose as it grinds; so we have to hold the top the whole time it is grinding. Lastly today, something broke inside the grinder. See attached pic. Product is okay but not great. Looking for customer support if they could send me the broken piece…

I love love love that the cord gets hidden underneath. It's a very quiet grinder compared to many others I have tried. It grinds beautifully! Easy selections. Easy to clean. Way less static than others I have used. Love love love just being able to push the button and walk away while it does it's thing. Small and compact to fit on my shelf nicely without taking up much space. This would get 5 stars, HOWEVER, I have gone through 4 lids in 3 years. I can never seem to find the replacement lids (I have been to the Hamilton Beach website and am on the email list to be notified when they come back in stock) so I have been forced to buy a whole new unit. It's such a waste. I have 2 other units just waiting to be used in my attic for when one goes, and now I get to add a 3rd because in under a year, once again, the lid is broke. It breaks where it locks into place. I wish they would use a better more durable plastic, or just simply change the design of how the lid locks in.
