Snap, Crackle, Pop! Bugs are gone!
Works for me! I ordered this bug zapper after moving to the South and getting bitten by pesky mosquitoes. I plugged it in and forgot about it. Then, I hear a pop. And then another pop. I'm writing this review reminded of the Klingon adage, "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Moohaha. Gnats, mosquitoes, and moths are dying every few minutes. My only wish is that this product came with a timer. I installed it to a smart switch to turn it off on a timer, or through my phone. =B

Cheap But Really Effective
It works REALLY well. I use it in my garage for when I work out in the AM. I live in South Florida so the bugs are brutal. I would get at LEAST half a dozen bites every morning. Now I MIGHT get one but more often than not it's just the sweet zzzzzzt sound of a mosquito getting fried. For the price you can't beat it.

Best money I ever spent.
Best money I ever spent. We have lots of plants and always have a few bugs hatching and flying around. Why spray poisons in the house? This bug light attracts and zaps them all. Small enough for any room. Big enough to take on tons of little plant critters. The "SNAP" each time it causes an insect's demise is soooo satisfying ! ! ! !

Effective bug control, but could be quieter.
Bought this for keeping pests away in the backyard and indoors. What I like • The 4200V power quickly zaps bugs, making it effective at clearing large areas. • Can be used both indoors and outdoors, offering versatility. • The design is easy to hang and doesn’t take up much space. What could be better • The unit is a bit noisy when in use, which may be distracting in quiet settings. • It could attract more bugs than expected in high-traffic areas. • The build feels slightly flimsy, so handle with care.Bottom line: A powerful bug zapper that works well for both indoor and outdoor use, but it could be a bit noisy and attract more bugs. Perfect for people looking for a strong, easy-to-use pest control solution, but consider quieter or more durable models for sensitive environments.

Works great
I've had this zapper for over a year now from Amazon so I feel I can comment a bit. Still working great! I do not have it plugged in constantly but will have it on for days at a time when for example there may be fungus gnats around due to overwatering plants. That said, I never really have a major flying insect problem, but I have heard it zap here and there when it does its thing. I have never used this outdoors so I have no idea how it would hold up exposed to the outdoors.I mostly agree with what I am reading in the AI summary (nicely implemented btw, kudos Amazon.)Of note:Ease of cleaning - definitely. I find it easy to unscrew the plastic bottom tray over a trash can and done. There has only ever been a little debris in there so in my experience it has not been gross. In addition to emptying the tray here and there I would recommend the occasional blast of air from a rubber rocket blower or whatever you prefer just to ensure no dust buildup.Noise level - it is completely silent except for the occasional zap. In my experience, this is like once or twice a day when plugged in. It can be a bit startling, but I do not think it is excessively loud, and I like that feedback that it is working.Brightness - it is on the bright side with the lights out but not with the lights on. I'd imagine it works better in a dark room. I wouldn't sleep in the same room with it unless you are tolerant to light and zaps or wear earplugs / sleep mask. My kill-a-watt P3 device tells methis is using 12W.Cord length – AI summary flagged this. My guess is this is intentional as tripping over the cable may damage the unit or you might fall. I've seen these short cables in other devices as a safety measure. I have never used an extension cord. I will position it near an outlet elevated on a chair or even the counter. I'd follow all manufacturer instructions regarding this and everything else about it.Lastly, while the zapping element appears to be just a bulb protected by a cage. I wouldn't go poking around it with it turned on. No where near water, children, pets etc. Just follow the manufacturer guidelines.Anyway, works great and I can def. recommend it. I do not love insects but hate to zap them. I only pull this out when they cross into the pest-zone and if you have ever had gnats, you know what I mean. Recommended!

Well made, zaps them all!
We ordered this bug zapper and took it camping right away. We haven't used it outdoors yet but have used it in the house and in the RV at night and it works wonderfully. Not one bug problem all week in the RV and the unit zaps them like crazy.

It worked when others ssid the mosquito isn’t attracted to the light, but some how it worked!
I bought this item ti catch one menacing mosquito that kept biting evert other night or so, and after about a week it finally got zapped. I just set it on the carpet/floor, and it actually zapped that darn pesty mosquito 🦟!

Good One
It works well. I don't know what happened but we have like an army of flies in our house, the big ones. Like we didn't have any dead animal or food waste indoor. And I was pissed. So I bought this, and it works. Only cons is it not strong enough to kill the flies in one shot, so at night, I had multiple zapping noise once in a while. But it keep them in checked!
