Buffers the heavy devices without being overly springy. Almost don't notice it's there, but I'm sure it's going to make my beams and straps last a lot longer.

Very solid product. I bought a kids harness and some boat bungees and hung from beams in an unfinished basement for the grandkids. They jump and swing and have a great time. I know that this isn't what it was intended for but it works great.
