Yellow Jacket Extra Heavy Duty Extension Cord, 100Ft, 10 Gauge, 3 Conductor, Lighted End, Weather Resistant, SJTW, Yellow, 2806

We purchased this cord back in 2007. My husband is a carpenter and he uses this on all his job sites. He runs a miter saw, table saw and his work lights all on this cord. It has a 3-way plug. It's very durable.

I’ve had this for a few months now. Constant use for my space heaters being used in my shed and no issues whatsoever (despite exposure to various weather elements and nonstop hours of use). Very pleased so far!

I own a 13 amp corded electric mower and I bought this cord specifically for use with this piece of equipment. I am extremely pleased with it. I was concerned about diminished power to the motor due to a lower gauge/quality cord. I even called the mower manufacturer to make sure I had what I needed. The gal on the other end of the line told me simply, "You're good!"I like that both plugs on this cord are lighted. Also, the circular male end of cord fits perfectly with circular female end of the mower cord. The fit is snug, so I've never had a disconnect.To be sure, this cord is very expensive... but you get what you pay for. I've seen some cheaper 10 gauge cords (at Harbor Freight for example), but their Amp value is lower. I've used an electric mower for about 3 1/2 years now, so I have some experience with managing a cord while mowing. I cut through my first cord about two weeks after I began using it, so I'm hoping that first lesson has taught me the necessary caution I need to have. I think if I cut through THIS cord... well I might just cry. ;)

I got this to help charge my electric car. The older outdoor cord I was using was not up to the task. This is a huge step up. Including in price. The cord is big and thick. The 3 10 gauge wires seem to have no problem passing the current from my house into my car. Can't wait to get a fast charger and stop using this monster cord.

The cord is made well, tends to be heaver than what I expected but seems to deliver the current well. What I did not expect is the shroud covering the female end of this cord. It is huge and will not go over the male ends of any of my electric appliances such as my electric chain saw or hedge trimmer. This is because these tools and most of my other appliances also have shrouds over the mail ends of their cords. I had to find a short extension cord that only use a normal size plug, without a shroud, as a go between this cord and my appliance. This adaptation and extra wiring worked but made using the tool awkward and difficult to handle. I am building my own, very short extension cord, using small plugs. Cutting off the shroud is another possible alternative.

This is the best electrical cord I have ever purchased in 60 years! It is sturdy, well made, and delivers the power to your tools. I have noticed all my power tools performed much better with the correct current reaching them. Good value good product good for me.

It's constructed properly and easy to use and store. It should be use for high amperage equipment and appliances. The light on the extension makes it easy to see if the outlet has power.

I use 2 of these for running my mitre saw and table saw at the back of my yard. No voltage drop and no bogging down of the saw blades. Also use these as a backup generator power feeds to the house. I live in Canada and the SJTW stays flexible and useable at -20 Celsius. Stays relatively flexible at -40 Celsius but takes a bit to unwravel. Can’t blame it, I don’t want to be outside in -40 either

Very good cord and plugs, heavy cord a must for heavy loads that lower gauge cords have too much voltage drop. Works well with big table saws and electric wood splitters at 100' away!
