Lack of product support
After purchasing a product on November 8, 2024, I unfortunately encountered an issue when the product stopped functioning in March. After conducting some research, I discovered numerous reviews expressing frustration with RecPro's customer service processes, which raised my concerns.Upon reaching out to RecPro, I was directed to email tech@recpro.com for further assistance. While I was disappointed that my issue could not be resolved over the phone, I proceeded to follow the instructions given. In my email to the technical department, I included photographs of the unit, as well as images from my multimeter indicating that there was no voltage, the green LED light status, and confirmation that all fuses were intact.I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response from Mandi within 20 minutes, who requested a copy of my invoice. After promptly providing the requested documentation, I received another email from Mandi less than 30 minutes later, informing me that a new unit would be shipped to me.While I would have preferred to resolve the issue through a direct conversation, I must commend Mandi for her outstanding support throughout the process. She made the experience seamless and responded with remarkable promptness.Although I regret that the unit failed, I am appreciative of the excellent customer service I received. Thank you, Mandi, for your assistance in resolving this matter efficiently.

MUST HAVE FOR CHARGING LITHIUM BATTERIES
We wanted to upgraded our 2000 Bounder to lithium batteries. After some research, we found that we needed to upgrade our inverter charger. This was an easy fix, just had to trim the back of the plastic insert area for it to fit. Other than that, the installation we so easy and inexpensive. Glad it's all done and working correctly.

Not worth the money or the headache.
Synopsis: I cannot recommend this converter/charger. It failed on it's first real test. That's the gist of it, for details read on.I bought this converter for our egg camper (small minimalistic fiberglass camper). It's a 13-foot Burro that's a complete resto-mod. I've replaced all the lighting with LED, we run the fridge on propane or 120v, and the only other things that run on 12v are the propane heater (exhaust blower) and the Maxx-Air roof vent, that we only use while cooking. We have one deep cell 12v marine battery for these sparse 12v accessories.I bought this converter/charger in August of last year, and only used the camper for one overnight get away (I was restoring and modding the camper all summer). This spring (April) we took the camper on our first road trip (10 states, 3,000 miles). The first few days went well, then we started to have issues with the lighting unless we were plugged into 120v. We took the camper to an autoparts store to have the battery tested. They put it on a load tester and determined the battery was only putting out 4.5v and likely had a few bad cells. A new battery and we were on our way. Everything went great that night, then the next day the battery went dead again (I had errantly set the fridge to 12v). The second night with the new battery nothing charged, even while plugged into 120v all night. BTW the TV, that runs on 120v, worked fine. In the morning I put my multi-tester on the charger and found it was supplying 4.5v... The culprit. Bought a new converter/charger at a local RV shop and after two and a half hours of charge time we were golden again.Out the $120 for this failed charger as it was well beyond the return date, and probably out another $120 for a battery that would have been fine with a dependable converter/charger.

Great converter!
Great upgrade to my RV. Wired to an ATS and works just like it should. I’d probably get more charge amps if I run larger wiring to the batteries, but it works well with what I’ve got!
