First, the case is almost military grade in terms of this is one tough case... rubber bumpers in all the correct places and while I have yet to drop it even once because of the way it WANTS to stay in your hand... cannot recommend it more highly.WAIT, that's not true... I can recommend the COMPANY more highly. The stand has little nubs that hold it into tracks and I used the stand rarely... the nubs no longer held the stand in place, so I sent a pleasant message to the company wondering if I could get a replacement stand -- and the next thing I know -- there's a replacement complete case, not just the stand, in my mailbox.This happened 54 weeks after purchase -- so I can tell you this company stands behind their product! The nubs seem to be the same design as my original... but it's hard to tell... regardless, great case, great company!!

So far, I'm please with this case. I had Otterbox Defenders on my last 3 company-issued iphones. When I removed the cases to replace the phones every 2 years, they were always in flawless physical condition.While I don't have a job where the phone gets abused, it's on me constantly - job-site visits, working around the house, driving, walking the dog, running around with my son - doing typical everyday things from morning 'till night, and it does see normal drops and bumps. I've always used the standard plastic screen protectors that used to come with the OB cases and never had an issue. Since that method always worked for me I don't feel the need for a glass protector, so I looked for a case that was similar to the OB that came with the plastic protector. This SupCase fits the bill, was half the price and looks and feels similarly rugged. Plus, it has a fold-flat phone stand. The case has a nice rubberized texture that fits the phone perfectly. The screen protector lays flat and allows full screen functionality (bubbles or gaps would drive me nuts). The raised areas for each button work well and access to the charging port is easy. Also, wireless charging works using only my unfancy wireless charging clock! I'm a belt-clip guy which is also why I selected this case. The phone snaps firmly into the clip but also allows for one-handed insertion and removal. To summarize...If you like the OB cases, you'll like this.I do wish they offered a replacement belt-clip, which is the reason for the 1 star deduction. Over the 2 to 3 years I keep my phones, I usually end up needing 1 or 2 replacements. Even those of us who are easy on phones will still bust a clip now and then due to them being exposed and hanging on your waist. Another company offers replacement belt clips for the SupCase, but at almost the same price as a new complete SupCase with case and clip. It would be great to go right to the manufacturer.NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. Bought for my grandson cell. He broke his las phone with a cheap cover. This one is like a tank. So far it saved his phone a couple of times. Highly recommend.

I like cases/holsters without any texture. This Supcase has a smooth texture which won’t collect dirt and dust etc like that common case texture with small grooves. This Supcase is more solidly made than my previous Encased. The texture on the Encased was horrible. The Encased holster release lock mechanism was worse. Went through three and each clip broke with in 3 months - just from normal everyday use - not from dropping. Horrible Encased design flaw. This Supcase looks to be more protective tho not as easy to release from the holster when attached to my belt. Maybe with more use, I’ll get better at it. I have a Nanami desktop wireless charger. My previous iPhone 11, in an Encased case, easily connected to my Nanami when charging. This Supcase model (for my new iPhone 13) hasn’t worked as well. It will charge when put on the Nanami charger but the connection is sporadic. I know it’s not the Nanami desktop wireless charger. Can only conclude it’s the Supcase case thickness. So far, worked on a car vent charger attached to my dashboard vent. So may have to research further to find if a different desktop charger will be more successful than the Nanami version I’m currently using (about three years old). Will follow up in time.Love the fact that the case has a kickstand and works vertically as well as horizontally.As for the protective plastic screen, it just requires some patience. I’d recommend a small clean microfiber cloth to wipe the inside of the screen. Also wipe the phone’s screen. It’s hard to remove every spec on the plastic protector. If you leave a dust spot or two and attach the screen to the phone, I can tell you it may be difficult to remove the screen protector. I had to go through this exercise three times. The dust specs are most visible on a white phone screen background. But I succeeded and now the Supcase screen looks great on my iPhone. Seems durable and I don’t see the fingerprints I would always see on my previous iPhones without any screen protector. Much better than the individual tempered glass screens which are next to impossible to apply without the ever present residual bubbles and dust specs. So far, would recommend this case.
