Super happy
These actuators actually fixed the vehicle (check engine light, 2017 equinox)!! I was not expecting the wonderful packaging. The markings make it so you cant mix them up. New bolts came with them. Im giddy over how well they are made and the packaging!!! Excellent product!!!!

Thank (insert name of preferred deity here) this was exactly what I needed!
On a 2013 Buick Verano, 2.4L engine, I got an OBD code of P0011, which covered anything from a failed camshaft sensor, timing chain, belt tensioner, or the camshaft itself.I figured I'd start with the cheapest and easiest option and replace these first. No sense dropping all that coin on the internals when a $30 part will work, right? Before you start, though, invest in a pair of spark plug pliers; they'll help you extract the old ones.Gently remove the clip from the top of the solenoid and look very closely at it. You get two solenoids and each one has a differently-shaped socket. This is how you keep them in the right position of intake vs exhaust. Using an 8mm socket (assuming OEM parts on your engine), undo the single bolt that holds one of the solenoids in place. Find the new solenoid that matches the plug and insert it into the hole. Seat it as best you can by hand, being careful to push it in as straight as possible; there's an O-ring that you don't want to damage. A light coating of clean oil might help here. Once it's in, you'll need a 10mm socket to snug the bolt up. Secure it in place and replace the electrical connector. Repeat for the other solenoid and you're gold.If you have an OBD code, be sure to clear it. That way you'll know if this solved your problem or not.*WARNING!* The product page says this "will" solve your problem. That's not true. These "might" solve your problem. Like I said, the OBD code covers a few different situations. You should start here because it's a quick, easy, and inexpensive fix. Better to drop $30 from the get-go and maybe solve your problems rather than drop three or four grand then find out this was all you needed! These are oil-actuated and over time, grit and metal shavings accumulate inside them, impeding their function. My car has over 195k miles on it, and yeah, both of them were clogged beyond belief. Give these a try. Yours might be due for replacement, anyway.
