Exactly want we wanted. a strong waterproof box.

Exactly what I ordered and hoped it would be.Installing it on outside front of camping trailer to house a positive and negative buss bar for the 12v battery system.I was able to use both a drill bit and spade bit to drill holes through the sides to allow for battery cables to pass through. Was worried the material might be too brittle and shatter, but it held up well to the drilling operation. Sealed holes around cables with black RTV.Note: the gasket material for the cover comes separate from the cover and requires you to cut the material to length and install it. Not a big deal, but I did not see this mentioned in the product description.

At first I wasn't sure about the seal because it isn't one piece. After pressing it in place and cutting it off, it is very difficult to tell it isn't one piece. I have the butted ends in the center of one end and that part of the lid facing down just in case but see no reason that it would leak. The lid scews are also outside of the seal so the the screws themselves don't need a seal. NIce design. I didn't test how water proof it is but am pretty confident that it won't leak.

it was just what I needed to house an FX Luminaire Luxor Cube (LCM-HV) with an in-line fuse and water tight connectors.Mounted outside on a planter box wall. Nice look. Very rugged.
