Following a brief review of 2-minute DIY YouTube demos (no instructions included) installation was simple and took less than 10 minutes. The foldability makes it compact for storage and installation. The outward facing silver side deflects the sun while the interior facing light gray finish keeps the cabin from feeling too dark. When choosing this product I prioritized regulating the cabin temperature over the beautiful panoramic sunroof views in preparation for the rising temperatures of the summer. This durable two-piece sunroof shade has two center clips that do not require a magnet to remedy sagging.

Fit Perfectly!

The media could not be loaded. This is a great product that is rendered mediocre by badly designed clips. In my case two clips arrived joined, and it took me 45 minutes of struggling to get them apart. See attached video for the last 5 minutes of the struggle, during which I finally separated them. I will put tape on the holes, so none will join again. I emailed basenor and they said they will not send extra clips. Although if I purchase another product and ask nicely then maybe they will send a few extra clips. If I had known I would experience this struggle, I would have chosen a different brand. I have no complaints. I saw reviews about the back part falling off, but as long as you use the clips that's come with it, that shouldn't happen. It blocks the light from coming through the roof to make it darker for car camping. Just what I needed. The only thing I could suggest is maybe having built in clips to allow you to easily remove it and put it back on. I just keep it up 247, but I'd like to look at the sky every now and then without the inconvenience of losing the clips.

I’ve done a lot of research for sun shades and this seemed like one of the best options. It does the job, but there are a few things that could be improved.- Fit: It fits well, but not perfect. When you add the opaque full coverage, there are very slight gaps at the border. Not entirely noticeable, but it is such a small thing that could be fixed, I wish they would have accounted for this.- Slack: There is some slack in the middle so you lose about 1-3 inches of space above your head. It isn’t drooping which is good. However, this could easily also be fixed with some sewing design or cheap apparatus. Again, not a huge deal but I wanted just one company to care enough and spend that extra dollar to fix this. I would be willing to pay more too.- Back Window Length: As another customer mentioned, the back shade is long and with the opaque shade added, it isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing look to see the silver from outside. The customer ended up cutting hers, but I don’t have the skills to trust myself with doing that. I wish they would’ve shortened the length by a couple of inches and it would’ve been good.- Price: Besides having to custom fit the shape and size, the materials for this product is cheap. Probably no more than a few dollars. I get that there is the measuring and production effort, time and cost, but the price still seems a little steep for what it is.I do like the simple design, the option of having a semi transparent vs. full opaque coverage, the bag it came in and the extra clips provided.

It. Fits well. No installation instructions are included, you have to reason out how to install the clips properly, but that isn’t too difficult.

I only used the front part. I was tired of getting blinded by the sun while out driving.Fast shipping and it fits perfectly in my 2018 M3.Love it.
