I can’t get the pressure above 60psi when filling tank. What do I need to do to make it have more pounds?

Have a higher pressure source. If the pop off is letting the air out at a lower pressure then you need to change it

what fitting do i need from a propane tank to this just for air not propane ?

This gauge kit seems to be made of decent materials with a decent well made gauge. Been using regularly for about 5 or 6 months without any problems. BUT PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!! Don't do it! That said According to the national standards publication NFPA58, a propane tank with 20 pounds (5 Gal) of gas at 70°F would have a pressure of 145 psi; at 90°F, pressure would increase to 180 psi; at 105°F, pressure continues to rise to 235 psi, and at 130°F, pressures of 315 psi would be reached. SO! Sure it would seem a propane tank can take pressure. Just not air pressure. There is a reason why they don't use and sell them for carrying and storage of compressed air. Had a friend that a propane tank converted for air storage opened up from the top while he was filling. He said he remembers looking at the gauge and it said about 75 to 80psi within seconds he said he remembers waking up in the ICU three days later. Blind In right eye and with only 70% vision in in his non dominant left eye. So good luck with if you go ahead with it. Hahaa. But this valve and gauge work and operate just fine.

Hi, it's really a question of should you use it with propane.

The answer is resounding NO. Only use properly rated metal pipes, hoses, fittings, gauges, regulators and other certified components when working with flammable gases.

Can I unscrew the tire inflator and replace with a blow gun or something similar?

Yes - you could but it's a pain in the a## if you need them both.  What I did was get a 2 foot hose with a female industrial (some people use the auto ones found at your local auto parts store) connector made up and screwed that in - then attached an air hose with the male on one end and the connector on the other (basically you are creating an extension).  Then, to THAT you can insert either the tire infiltrator or the blow gun.  Makes switching tool easy.
