We have a GE Profile microwave that has the 14 inch turntable plate. The tabs at the bottom of the plate had never engaged that well with the rotating coupler at the bottom of the oven even when new. Recently, for some reason, it wasn’t engaging at all, but I couldn’t figure out why. Fortunately we live in a condo building where almost all of us have the same microwave. So I went to a neighbor’s apartment with our plate and tried it in his oven and it worked properly, although it wasn’t a very secure mesh. I had also brought the roller ring from our oven and tried it in his with our plate. It did not engage at all. So I decided that the ring must be the problem and ordered these. Fortunately the wheels on this ring are a smaller diameter, maybe a millimeter or two. Just enough smaller than the original to allow a perfect mesh with our plate. So for those with a 12-14 inch plate these work better than the originals. The total diameter of the ring itself is about 3-4 millimeters smaller than the original but I don’t see that affecting anything. And for this price you can’t go wrong.

Use infrequently

It is mind blowing that something so small could prevent the turntable from turning in the microwave. Which is what makes this part even more fantastic, when you insert it in, Voila~ it works !!! PS: I use my microwave several times a week over the past 7 years and this is the first ring that I have had to replace...so I am hoping that this ring will also last 7 years, but just in case it does not and to SAVE ME some time, I purchased the 2 ring package for the great price of about $10.00 bucks...

How I ever lost the third wheel on this, is a mystery. When I searched Bosch for a replacement, it was something like $37. The one I purchased from Amazon was just as good but much less expensive. In fact, there were two in the package. Good purchase!

The inlets in the microwave plate do not sit properly on this item, it is too small for the average microwave plate. It looks very cheap and flimsy, it also does not reach completely out to the circumference of the microwave turntable. Will not recommend this item, it looks like it was made for a toy microwave. Do not waste your money buying this item.

This is a replacement part for the rotating roller ring in my microwave. It fits where the old broken ring was and works fine. Getting two roller rings was a bonus, but I doubt if I'll need the second ring. The original ring was broken and held together with clear tape. I suspect the installer did that because I wasn't aware of the broken ring for several years, when the tape came apart.
