Lasted two summers before falling apart
We loved this cover the first year, thought it was just okay the second summer. We uncovered it for the start of this, what would be the third summer, and the bubbles disintegrated leaving scale like floaters in the pool. Keep in mind this was removed from the pool for winter, rolled on a reel, and kept covered. I'm not sure if it would be better to leave it in the pool with the winter cover over it or not. With that said, it did heat the pool up nicely in Oregon weather. We have a short season here so any help we can get is nice. It isn't a miracle heater, but I'd say it heated it up at least 5 degrees, maybe 10 degrees on a bright sunny day. Will be getting a different brand and hope for more longevity next time.

YIKES!!! 24' cover is MUCH bigger than advertised
The diameter of the 24' 16 mil clear diamond cover was 24' PLUS another 19" in diameter. It is MUCH too big for our 24' pool without serious trimming. Unfortunately, I only discovered this AFTER I had it on the pool.I would have ordered the 21' cover and saved $22 and a TON of frustration and time had I known the actual dimensions of the 24' cover. It is okay if the cover doesn't extend to the edge of the pool. It will still warm the water. When measuring to trim this beast, we discovered the inside diameter of our pool at the waterline is about 23' 8" and we trimmed to allow a 1" gap. So, the diameter of the cover we received was 25" bigger than what we needed. It took two of us to trim the cover. It was too unwieldy to trim while the cover was on the pool. We tried that first. We really did not want to drag the cover off the pool and roll it out on the ground, but we did. Thankfully, our yard is large enough that we were able to spread out the solar blanket. The radius I cut CAREFULLY is not as clean and smooth as the factory cut. A minor irritation for a perfectionist.I contacted the supplier about the cover's dimensions. They are checking their inventory and checking with the manufacturer. Hopefully, the seller will update the item description and specify the exact diameter of the cover. The supplier offered me a small discount and I accepted it.As a side note, this solar cover has some weight to it. I have always cut our round solar covers in sections to make them easier to install and remove. This cover is HEAVY. I have cut it in half at the center seam line. Even half of this cover is heavy, especially when there is water in it. After using it for a bit I'll decide if I need to cut along the other two seams. The cover has three laminated seams 6' apart. It is much easier to maneuver smaller sections. The trick is to put them back on the pool in the correct order, bubble side down.

nice*****UPDATE DO NOT BUY
******UpdateWorked well for heating our pool up here in PA. However it is very heavy. Hard to get on and off.***UPDATE we have had this for ONLY 2 years now and it has to be thrown out. The little deflated bubbles have filled with water causing it to sink in the water. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on and off now.... SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

This blanket was a big disappointment. I have never had an issue with algae ...
This blanket was a big disappointment. I have never had an issue with algae but the clear plastic encouraged growth even when chemical levels were on the high side. In addition it did not generate the heat that our dark blanket did. I will be going back to a black solar blanket even though they are more costly.

Hot pool!
The cover is certainly better then the one that came with our pool. Previous years we would have pool temps in the 70’s and this year we have never dropped below 80- not to mention we have had more rain and a cooler summer. The big issue is the cover is heavy and hard to put on and off by yourself, really need two people. That said, I would buy again and recommend purchasing

Heavy duty gauge.
Being clear doesn't seem to heat up my water as well as the metallic style or just black plastic tarp floating on my pool. The gauge is excellent though, should last awhile as a leaf cover.

Nice thick quality but they absorb water into air pockets
We bought this at the end of the 2013 season, used it a few months before rinsing and storing in the heated basement of our home. We then used it again for 2014, now end of season trying to get it dry enough for storage, I think we are going to have to buy a new one in spring. Some how many of the air pockets are full of water, and that also makes it extremely heavy coming off a 24' pool. I think I would rather pay half the price and buy cheaper, lighter covers as these do not seem to last any longer.

Great company to deal with
What a great company...my cover had a manufacturing flaw in it....they replaced it without any problem...the cover is thick and sturdy....heavy..does a good job keeping the heat in the pool....a bit oversized, but I found that to be a plus...it stays on the pool better.I would by their products again
